I want to learn more about Howard Hughes-any good books?

I finally saw The Aviator.Fantastic movie, by the way. Of course I knew about Howard Hughes, mostly about his OCD. But I want to learn more about him.His life. Why did he love aviation so much? What started his passion for planes and movie making? I'd like to read more about the senatorial hearing, his conquests, his failures. How much of the movie was hyperbole, and, exaggeration?

Can someone direct me to a few good books detailing his life?

Thanks in advance.
