Mystery/Crime fans near El Paso... and favorite cons

Left Coast Crime - an annual myserty/crime conference will be in El Paso, TX this year.

Here's the link: http://www.leftcoastcrime2005.com/

I attend several of these types of cons a year and LCC is one of the best. It's geared toward the fan/reader, but also has a lot of panels for aspiring writers. It's cool to just hang out with other readers and writers of crime fiction.

If you're in the area at the end of Feb, it's worth checking out. And you might even get to meet DJmont!!!

BTW - I have NO affiliation with this organization.

Next topic: Anyone out there attend any writing/reader conferences ever? What are some of your likes/dislikes?

That's right, you might indeed have a chance to meet me! Especially if you happen by the bar...

Writer's conferences are a lot of fun in my experience. I think any fan would benefit for checking one out, should they have the opportunity.
