I just finished up Alan Moore's Watchmen and Bev Vincent's The Road to the Dark Tower, and now I'm not too sure what I'm gonna read. Anyone have any suggestions?

America (The Book) - John Stewart.
Thinking of reading some Vonnegut next. I read Mother Night last week and liked it a lot.

Tscott 10-05-04 11:58 AM

Hey, I read Mother Night two weeks ago and liked it.:) I got that and Slapstick for free as hand-me-downs from a relative, but I've been thinking of picking up Cat's Cradle before reading Slapstick.

Also just finished The Dark Tower VII by Stephen King.

Currently reading: Pale Fire - Vladimir Nabokov

Next up? Depends on my mood.
A trip to the bookstore or,
Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron - Daniel Clowes
Infinite Jest - David Foster Wallace (will be my second attempt to get into this book if I pick this)
Vonnegut's Slapstick or Cat's Cradle

Friday Night Lights by H.G. Bissinger.

Beaver 10-10-04 11:30 PM

wmansir 10-11-04 04:26 AM

Just finished King's The Dark Tower VII last week, and I picked up DT I: The Gunslinger and DT II: The Drawing of Three when I returned it to the library.

I also picked up The Ice Limit by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. I've never heard of them or the book, but it was a last minute pickup before the library closed.

I got to the library with 15 minutes until closing and they had already turned out the lights in the stacks. Honestly, it's not that big a library, 5 minutes would have been plenty of time.
