I was looking specificly for Dashiell Hammett, but if anyone knows of any good short stories please post the links.

I posted a thread with links to the Hugo and Nebula nominees here yesterday, and I think it got moved (I found it in another thread that I hadn't read). Here's a link to that thread--the sites listed have the Hugo and Nebula stories linked. Obviously, the longer stuff is just excerpts or ads, but the short stories have their full text. I 'm not sure how much longer they'll be there (Hugo's are really soon) but for now, there are free online stories at those two sites.
