As anyone else reading the War of the Spider Queen series?
I am currently on book 4 and the series is pretty good. The second book is the best.

I thought about reading this series, but I don't know anything about it. What is it about exactly? Have you read any of the Drizzt books? How does War of the Spider Queen compare to those books? I thought Drizzt was too comic-booky.

They still have a cartoon feel to them, but they are still interesting. Drizzt has nothing to do with the books. The whole idea of the book is that the Spider Queen (Lolth) has removed all her magic from the female Drow. The Drow send an expedition out the find out what has happened to the Spider Queen.
Every book is written by a different person, so the style changes a little with each book. The books are fast reads and worth checking out though.
