Any fans of Robert Anton Wilson?

I read the Illuminatus! trilogy years ago and at the time really got into a bunch of his writings. Then just the other day i picked up Masks of the Illuminati and have loved it so far. It got me hunting down my old copy of Prometheus Rising and such.

So any other fans of his almost dadaist writing style?

Illuminatus was a LOT of fun.

I've got to respect a book that ranges from the execrable to the level of literary genius--and does it deliberately, or at least makes it look that way.

Of course, if you like him, you might want to check out the work of one of his influences...

People should not forget that the Illuminatus! Trilogy was co-written by the late Robert Shea who got "top billing." I've long suspected that the more coherent parts were written by Shea.

Very true but ithink RAW gets more notoriety for it because he was so prolific in his writings. Plus i have to admit a love for the surrealism and pseudo-mysticism of much of his stuff.
