A Night To Remember by Walter Lord - the definitive book on TITANIC?
This is the one book I've read on the sinking of the Titanic, and it seems to have everything - from eyewitness accounts to minute-by-minute details from 11:40 p.m. (the time of impact on the iceberg) to 2:20 a.m. (the time the bow of the Titanic sank below the ocean).
Are there other books considered noteworthy?

You might want to get Lord's follow-up Titanic book, "The Night Lives On" - You can read some reviews at Amazon if you desire:
The Night Lives On
A very cool Titanic book with text by Don Lynch and paintings by Ken Marschall is "Titanic - An Illustrated History". This book has a fantastic, three page foldout of a cutaway view of the Titanic's entire starboard side. Maybe you have a decent Library near you to check it out.
Titanic - An Illustrated History
I think the book, "The Titanic Diaster Hearings: The Official transcripts of the 1912 Senate Investigation", is also an amazing read of eyewitness accounts just days after the sinking.

Lord's book is definitely a good one if you want to learn about the Titanic. He was a fine writer of narrative history.
You'd think that some other good ones would have been written over the years, although I'm not aware of any.
