John Steakley's Armor
 

Rocks! Truly. I picked this one up for $.50 at the used book sale in my local library and it's one of the best SF novelizations I've read in a long while.

A realistic look at power-suit/space combat. Great stuff.

After a Google I just found out that John is working on Armor2. Sweet.:D

Love this book. Nice to know Armor 2 is in the works. :up:

I should reread this again.

He also wrote Vampires, which John Carpenter loosely based his movie by the same name on. Some of the character names are the same as in Armor, though I don't remember if they are the same people. Not as good as Armor, but not bad either.
