I am right in the middle of eragon, and i love it. it is creative and there are suprises that keep you addicted. it's the best book that i have read in awhile. i would never compare it to harry potter. eragon isn't riding a broomstick and casting witch spells. he's learning a language that gives him abilities and working with his dragon. this book is much more creative than some witch on a stick. movie comes out dec. 15th, can't wait.

if you are deciding 2 read eragon or not, i will definently recomment that book! it is so interesting. actually the only reason i read it at first was because i wanted to see the movie but i knew it was a book so i made myself read the book before wathing the movie, but i've got to tell you, the book is excellent!! it has action, adventure, a complex [but easy 2 follow] plot and a little romance, =]=]. if you havent read it, you should go buy it or check it out at the library, i promise you, you will not be sorry! i also recoment Eldest, the second book in the inheritance trilogy!

I haven't watched the movie but I've heard from all of my friends that have read the book, that the movie doesn't even come close to how good the book is.
