Just tossing this out in case anyone knows what I'm talking about.

It's a collection of stories by one writer. The cover of the book has a dog lying in the grass with an American Flag drapped partially over him.

All I can remember is that one of the stories was about a Father sending his son's teacher love letters through papers he would have to read in class.

I saw it a couple weeks back on a new release paperback table.

Make any sense?
