Alan Moore reccomendations?
 

I've just recently gotten into Alan Moore's comics with From Hell and Watchmen. I was wondering if anyone had some more reccomendations of what else of his is worth checking out?

Read Swamp Thing right this second!!

Then Miracleman and Top 10.

Miracleman TPB is OOP. I'm hoping they reissue it soon.

Add V for Vendetta to the list.

i will second v for vendetta. i read this and was absolutely dumbfounded it was so good. i started watchmen awhile back but never finished it as i got sidetracked but i liked what i was reading. i will say that i WISH I COULD READ MIRACLEMAN!!!!! are you listening todd?? i would like to read this story without having to mortgage my house.

As you might be aware, there is a rights dispute going on between Todd & Neil Gaiman over the Miracleman character. The last I recall was that Todd lost but was apealling the verdict. Hopefully this will be resolved soon & we won't have to depend on Todd for future Miracleman comics. I don't know about you, but IMO Todd puts out bad comics that look nice. I'd rather see a good MM comic than Todd's MM comic.

Alan Moore has written the best Superman ever.

Better than Jerry Sigel, better than Eliot S! Maggin, better than John Byrne, better than anyone.

You can find all of them (including Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow) in the Across the Universe trade paperback. Classic material.

I also have enjoyed (besides the aforementioned Watchmen, V for Vendetta, and Miracle/Marvelman) his ABC Comics, especially Tom Strong and Top 10. His Supreme stories were fantastic, and have been recently collected.

I just finished reading the fourth Prometha HC today, that's an excellent series. No I just have to wait about a year for the next one.
