Since this is primarily a movie website, I prefer reading my favorite authors in their OAR, so it's hardcovers for Connelly, Coben, Crais, Hunter, J. Patterson (hanging on by a thread), Ablow, Lehane, and Lansdale among others. I also purchase quite a few remaindered hardcovers when it comes to other authors I like or maybe someone new I'd like to try out. All-in-all, I'd say my purchases are split 50-50 between hardcover and paperback, though I certainly do prefer hardcovers. Another reason I prefer hardcovers is that they just feel better, as Undercover Brother would say, they feel "SOLID". I like the sound they make when you snap them shut or just drum your fingers/knuckles on them. Hmmm...........this is getting kind of strange.............I'd better stop before this post turns into something that a Moderator might have to move over to the Mature Forum.

I would choose a paperback even if the hardcover was the same price.

Paperback because they take up less space at home.

Hardcover is the way to go.

Paperback if it's a book I don't care too much about.
