Good Books in the "Dummies" series?
Most of the "for Dummies" books... well... they suck.
But occasionally there is a gem. "Wine for Dummies", for example is an EXCELLENT overview of wines that actually teaches a lot. I was wondering if anyone else knew of any GOOD "for dummies" books? |
Chess for Dummies is pretty good... particularly in helping chess newbies learn the three stages of the game.
HTML 4.0 for Dummies was a good introduction for HTML for me. I guess www.webmonkey.com would work as well, though. |
How about "DOS for Dummies"?
