Fight Club

I read "Fight Club" this morning and I have to say I was a little disappointed - I think in this case, I actually liked the movie better.

Maybe it's just because I saw the movie first - have seen in many times. I don't know.

The only thing that the book has over the movie I think, is the ambiguity of everything. In the book, it feels like the whole thing could just be a delusion. Also, the things that Tyler say sound much less like philosophy and more like insane ranting.

I love Chuck's style though. Have you read survivor? I think that's the fastest I've ever read a book.:)

If you like Fight Club--and I love it myself--I think you'd also really enjoy The Ignored by Bentley Little. In The Ignored there's a group of people called The Terrorists for the Common Man that are a lot like the "army" in Fight Club.

I haven't read anything else by him yet, though I have Survivor and will read it soon.

I don't know about the style really though - seemed like Hunter S Thompson with less talent.
