I honestly didn't care much for Top Ten...stuff that I thought was particularly good:

Dark Knight Returns
Batman: Year One
Watchmen
Superman: Man for all Seasons
Batman: Long Halloween
Kingdom Come

I enjoy Transmet, 100 Bullets, Preacher and Authority as well, though I don't think they would appeal to everyone. JLA: Earth 2 was also very good.

As for Rising Stars, I felt the series went downhill a bit after the first arc...especially in the artwork dept.
