Book Review Sites [merged]
So when is DVDTalk going to have a book review database? ;)
Really, does anyone frequent any book review sites besides The New York Times and Amazon? |
I do have some review sites bookmarked somewhere but I usually forget to go directly to them. And often they are too specialised for just any book....
.... my usual trick is to type in the author name and part of the title into either Google or DejaGoogle and see what comes out. On the matter of the original question I guess the answer is when some of us (I definitely include myself) get off our arses and make this forum higher traffic in part by posting our own reviews! |
Book Review Sites?
When it comes to DVD reviews, and theatrical reviews, this site spoils me rotten. I wish there were similar sites for mystery novel (or just books in general) reviews. The ones I've found so far haven't been updated in years, or lack a simple "new reviews" section.
Do you have any favourite book review sites? If so, what are they? thanks, Andrew |
Re: Book Review Sites?
This is what I have in my Google Reader feeds:
http://ozhorrorscope.blogspot.com/ http://januarymagazine.com/ http://www.sfreviews.net/ http://www.sfsite.com/ http://www.strangehorizons.com/ http://www.nybooks.com/ I found quite a few of them here: http://groups.google.ca/groups/searc...oglegroups.com And I recently found the following: http://www.reviewsofbooks.com/ http://www.bookreporter.com/ |

Thank you.

Re: Book Review Sites [merged]
I must admit to merging these two threads for no especially pressing reason other than for the nostalgia of seeing a Meatpants thread raised from the dead!
(There is probably an argument for saying that the info could be compiled within the "Resources" sticky). |
