Best Buy Black Friday 2022
 

As mentioned earlier by kahuna, Best Buy has put a large portion of its Black Friday movies on sale today (over 340 titles). The sale ends at the end of the day today (Monday). Must be a My Best Buy member.

I scraped the sale titles from the Best Buy site and dumped them into this spreadsheet, so hopefully this will help you get some of your shopping done early:

The rest of the Black Friday calendar looks like this:
Mon, Nov. 14 - Member Mondays sale
Thu, Nov. 17 - TotalTech members Early Access to Black Friday
Fri, Nov. 18 - My Best Buy members Early Access to Black Friday
Sun, Nov. 20 - Black Friday Sale begins
Thu, Nov. 25 - Black Friday
Sun, Nov. 27 - Cyber deals begin

Holiday return policy is in effect. Anything bought after Oct. 24 can be returned through Jan. 14.
Price matching is suspended from Nov. 18 - 28. Also, matching is excluded at any time for competitor offers for "items denoted as Black Friday pricing".

Still haven't seen No Way Home since it's not on any streaming service I subscribe to, so 13.99 isn't too bad.

According to the resident BBY guy on Bluray.com it seem many of these deals were on shippers slated to roll out 13th

I don't think it was a mistake. They are linked directly from the "Black Friday Deals right now" page. It does say "Limited Quantities. No rainchecks" so I think they're just removing them from the site as they exhaust the quantity they set aside for this event. They'll be back next week when they go on sale again.

Looking over the list, and it seems kind of weird that they have a lot of titles where they have the DVD and 4K-UHD/blu-ray on sale, but no the standalone blu-ray release. Like they have Black Widow on DVD for $7.99 and the UHD+blu-ray+digital for $12.99, but no Black Widow blu-ray on sale.

Kind of a light list from Best Buy; could be worse, but no bargains that really wow me. Pretty par for the course. Have to go through the list and figure out what I want, if anything, then figure out if I want the blu-ray or 4KUHD.

If I could pick up a bunch of recent Marvel films like Black Widow, Eternals, Shang-Chi, and Ant-Man and Wasp for $9.99 I probably would, but I sort of balk at getting them for $12,99 on UHD.

I'll probably pick up Dune on 4KUHD for $9.99, Ghostbusters Afterlife for $9.99 on blu-ray, Secrets of Dumbledore for $9.99 on blu-ray or 4KUHD, Matrix Resurrections on 4KUHD for $9.99, Scream 2022 on 4KUHD for $9.99, Spiderman No Way Home on blu-ray for $9.99. I do like that Kong vs Godzilla blu-ray for $5.99, and wish we had a few more priced like that.

I think I will stop buying Digital Codes from iTunes, Vudu, etc. I could of just gotten the 4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital Code for the same price of less. I'm sure there are more.

I picked up Dune and The Batman on 4K via curbside pickup at Best Buy today. Dune didn't have a slipcover, but it did have a digital code. Sometimes Warner Bros pulls the codes after a certain time period, but I'm glad that wasn't the case with my copy.

Looks like BB blew their load too soon on some of these titles, as a found a few movies that went from $10 to $20+.

So was this just a special one day sale? I notice some of them are still on Amazon for the discounted price, but nothing really at BB.com.

BB dropped the ball with their 11/13 BF movie deals being available today for a short time until the prices went back to regular prices. Not sure when the deal is over/


Not sure if I should post all the lists tyrok posted over on BR/com. They give you a good idea of what should go on sale 11/7 and 11/13.
But it is a rough draft and not many prices listed.

Reminder that a bunch of stuff is going on sale tonight (I think at 1am ET), a bunch (all?) of which was incorrectly listed for sale last week.

And the sale prices did not go live. I saw some people speculating that the prices were incorrectly programmed for last week instead of this week, so it might take as long for them to show up today as it did for them to get taken down last week.
