Looked like the site was nuked, too. That's become a tradition apparently. The book and book bundle sold out in less than an hour, but will be available from the publisher if you missed it. Glad I soldiered through.

I was only interested in Blood for Dracula ("The blood of these whores is killing me!"), so I just grabbed that.

The BFD UHD is a thing of beauty, and I'm especially looking forward to the Paul Morrissey Andy Warhol-bashing commentary. Then we have Vinegar Syndrome releasing a UHD of Flesh for Frankenstein later this year.

Also the book was restocked with an additional 400 copies.

A commentary that bashes Paul Morrissey and Andy Warhol?

Because if you're expecting a commentary BY Paul Morrissey that bashes Andy Warhol, you'll be disappointed; there is no Morrissey commentary on this release. If you want to hear Morrissey talk about Blood for Dracula, you'll have to locate the old Criterion DVD. I've listened to it, and don't specifically remember him bashing Warhol but it's been a while since I heard it.

Placed my order right before midnight took about 3 minutes, 18 titles. It does appear that some DVD prices dropped during the day and now are sold out, I only saw one $5 title last night and now there’s are a few

Sorry, I meant an *interview* with Paul Morrissey that bashes Andy Warhol. On episode 12 of the podcast they played a snippet of the 'Trans-Human Flesh And Blood: Interview with Director Paul Morrissey' featurette where he doesn't hold back his true feelings on them being perceived as Warhol films. He literally says to credit him is a crime against humanity.

Went back and forth on the Marauders bundle but considering the state of my "too watch" pile and the propensity of Severin item to kinda hang in there I think I'll wait a year or two and pick em up when they are selling for more attractive price points. Either that or give in around Black Friday when I am having a hard time hitting the $100 free shipping threshold.

Of 4 orders placed, I've received 2. Both were orders of catalog titles. Blood for Dracula and The Marauders Bundle haven't shipped yet.

Good to know. I had ordered "Blood for Dracula" and "Cruel Jaws" so I'm guessing BfD is the holdup.

Cruel Jaws was in my first catalog order, so BfD is definitely the holdup. I've seen people receiving the Marauders bundle beginning last week, and it seems like BfD is trickling out now. Hopefully we all get shipping notifications shortly!

I just got Blood for Dracula in yesterday. Looks great, but I only had the Criterion Laserdisc in the past so this was gonna be a massive upgrade by default.

Finally got my shipping notice in the middle of the night, which I found odd.

Severin is claiming damage to the After the World Ends books and late arrival on the packaging for BfD is the reason for these delays. Orders for the Marauders Bundle that include the book will be shipped minus the book, which will then be shipped separately when they receive them. They're saying to give them another week to get the rest of the sale orders out.

BfD and the Marauders bundle have shipped for me. Remains to be seen if the book will be included at this point, but at this point, I care more about the movies than anything else.
