Likewise.

Also, the GRUVLOYAL20 discount code still works. I had to go back in there and cancel my Inglourious Basterds/Carlito's Way that I pre-ordered at regular price. I re-ordered the items and the code worked.

Too bad they're The Sparks Brothers isn't on GRUV. I was really hoping to take advantage of the 20% off/free shipping with that one.

It seems to fall under the Universal MOD program which haven't been part of GRUV so far. Of course finding any deals on any of the Allied Vaughn discs is difficult at best.
Hoping maybe Target B2G1 sale might catch that one, but Target doesn't even have an OOS listing for it which probably means they won't carry it at all. Ingram/Target only seems to pick up 20% of the Warner Archive
items anymore and the Sony and Universal MOD discs aren't any better

Re: Gruv.com (Universal store) sales

Smokey and the Bandit 4K is back in stock and can be ordered again. It is still $13.99 less 20% coupon and they are still offering free shipping.

The post offce screwed up one order I am still expecting. The order arrived but was waiting to be accepted at my local post office in a suburb of New York. City on September 30th . On October 1 the tracking says it was in Springfield Ma. On October 2 it was in Albany NY and then Athens NY where I guess it spent the rest of the weekend. Thank you Postmaster General. Great new system you set up to slow the mail.

Re: Gruv.com (Universal store) sales

I think the only way my 4K Universal Monster set will arrive on release day is if UPS actual delivers it instead of turning it over to the post office for final delivery which is what UPS innovations shipping does. My tracking still says label created so it hasn't moved yet.

Yeah, label created. They had said starting Oct 1 postal service was going to be slower. Which is okay with me because I wouldn't be able to dig into it until the 7th and 8th.

Re: Gruv.com (Universal store) sales

USPS site shows me no info, just "label created"
UPS site shows me it left Memphis on the 30th, and is now just outside Dallas as of 6am.
So mine still may show up tomorrow... if it moves from Dallas to Houston today.
I do wish they had shipped 1-2 days earlier, but ah well. Can't complain, really.

My tracking on UPS says it was on Long Island on its way to USPS so I should receive it by Thanksgiving.

Re: Gruv.com (Universal store) sales

There is a new 2 for $22 4K sale. The 20% off coupon still works and they still have free shipping. With the coupon the discs are $8.80 each.

Re: Gruv.com (Universal store) sales

After giving each movie a quick gander, they all looked good, but The Invisible Man being the best. Even though it was confirmed earlier, it was still good seeing the Spanish Dracula was included in 4K.

Re: Gruv.com (Universal store) sales

Not a big deal, but mine is still in the Dallas area, so I'm not getting it today. Nice to hear that the films all look good. Looking forward to watching and archiving my copies

Re: Gruv.com (Universal store) sales

So I ordered Van Helsing 4K and got the package yesterday. I just opened it, and turns out they sent me the wrong thing...the Universal Classic Monsters 4K set! I was up-in-the-air about whether I wanted to get it, but I'm certainly not going to complain about getting it for only 8.79 (10.99 - 20% coupon)!

Re: Gruv.com (Universal store) sales

Universal Monsters 4K set is back in stock. I believe you can still use GRUVLOYAL20 for that 20% discount. Halloween Kills 4K is also available for pre-order and coupon should also work for pre-orders.

That is great. I hope there wasn't someone who ordered the Classic Monsters set and got a package with Van Helsing.

They added another 20% off coupon - WEENHAP20 - good through the end of the month. Not sure if it's reusable.

I would think they would create another 20% coupon. It really helps to choose them instead of another vendor. TURKEY20 for Nov. SANTA20 for Dec.
