If you look through the posts in this thread, the 2021 & 2022 sales both started on the first week of July.

Really not much on my list this time, are there any discounts at all if you're a member?

Re: B&N - 50% off Criterion Sale

Must resist. I just packed up several hundred CD/DVD/BD/UHDs to sell off at the local trade in place. I don't need more stuff. The only Criterion that I don't already have that I might want is After Hours. Maybe Santa will bring it to me if I am good.

Re: B&N - 50% off Criterion Sale

The only notable recent Criterion release that I would be interested in is Thelma and Louise. I'm going to have to look and see if there is anything else worthwhile. I'm not a big Criterion person and even on sale, the titles aren't exactly bargains, so I have to be pretty selective.

Not that I doubt this in the least since the start date makes perfect sense and what I was expecting, but where did the info come from? I've looked in most of the usual sources
and finding nothing

Re: B&N - 50% off Criterion Sale

I also got the Thelma and Louise 4K with the Amazon price match. Scheduled to come tomorrow. Better than the 10+ day wait via BN.com.

I’ll probably buy some of the nine titles on my list, but I want to see how much I spend on this VS sale first.

Re: B&N - 50% off Criterion Sale

If there is one title that is a must have in Criterion’s 4K line up, please let me know what that is. I don’t own any Criterion 4K yet. And all I see Criterion doing these days is releasing titles from 4K masters of 10+ years ago for most part. And with some terrible color regrading, teal and yellow stained redo’s. There’s no blues anymore, just green or teal in its place. What’s with this new obsession of directors approving this revised color scheme ??

One False Move got my attention but not sure how it stands up as a 4K transfer.

Re: B&N - 50% off Criterion Sale

Picked up The In-Laws (RIP Alan Arkin). Will go back next week for After Hours and possibly a few more. The stock at the nearby store was low so I’m hoping they’ll restock before the sale ends.
