Saves so much time and money. It also does tv shows. What I have noticed is that it doesn't pull from certain sites like Criterion Channel, Kanopy, etc.
Criterion and kanopy are definitely included on just watch.

At this rate, SAE will have nothing to 'inherit' from TT on 7/1 ☺️

Re: SAE Twilight Time Sale - every Blu-ray 4.95-14.95

And then the big question is whether SAE, which still has most a lot of these in stock, many probably in decent quantities, will suddenly mark them down even cheaper after July 1. When 'reprint rights' suddenly disappeared from that press release yesterday, I had to wonder, even though it would be awesome if they were able to continue licensing some titles. Guess we'll see.

Re: SAE Twilight Time Sale - every Blu-ray 4.95-14.95

Want those Woody Allen's. Didn't realize 'Another Woman' had been marked down to $8.95. If SAE does end up marking stuff down, will be a big hit on the wallet (assuming I can get everything in my cart)

Just my intuition but I don't think SAE will carry on the label issuing new selections.

I;m going to guess that's more than just a best guess.

Several of the people at HTF who personally know/knew and worked side by side with Nick, Brian, and the head of SAE have pretty much said that isn't happening.
I suspect it was some of their questioning of those people yesterday which triggered the Revised emails after the rumors started up due to the way the 1st was worded.
All 3 who had deep ties to the companies reacted immediately and shut down the speculation on the spot -- basically a big fat "That Ain't Happening"

If something changes in the next 8 week (or 6 months) then their reps are on the line.. From my standpoint I believe them at least 98.44%

Re: SAE Twilight Time Sale - every Blu-ray 4.95-14.95

Things have gotten back to busy, but not crazy. Unit sales have gone from 40K -- 5K -- 3.5K -- 1.5K -- 800 during the week. Still well above the 200 or so they were averaging most of April and early May, but
things are selling out dozens per day and most items now seem to be selling as singles and not 5-10+ at a time so the dealers/speculators seem to be tapped.
64 Titles remaining for sale at TTM.

SAE with 198BD and 2DVD - nothing appears to be under 50 per title at the moment after the 6 new sellouts earlier in the week

Nothing at SAE listed at below 50 units right now

Not sure what happened to my tables -- I thought they were showing properly yesterday, but now they are just a mess.
I'll try something different

3 Tables

First
1) Current Stock at TwilightTimeMovies.com
2) Units sold since last Sunday morning at beginning of the Current Clearance Sale
3) Units sold of currently in-stock titles since Tuesday morning after the initial bloodletting. i.e. what are the current most popular titles once the buy everything regardless of name on the cover as fast as possible ended.

Second
Which title has sold the most units so far in the Clearance Sale?

Third
Which titles have sold less than 300 units during the clearance sale (not counting sold out tiles which are artificially low)

Edit: I just looked at their site. High prices, & total rip off shipping rates. I have all the Woody's on DVD; I'll survive!
Looked at this again. As a retailer myself, I can tell you that postage & shipping supplies for 1 blu come to aprox $3.25 or less. These folks are a total rip off, charging more than double that. I'd really like this blu; but I can just wait & grab it on ebay...............

Definitely, but with 8000 orders it's going to take a while.

It sounds like small packages that take far less checking, assembling, packing as being sent out as they are ready. Many people with 1-2-3 items orders that were made later are getting dispatches earlier than those
with 10-20-40+ item orders. That is pretty consistent with previous sales. International orders are also slower out the door. As far as slower out the door doesn't seem to correlate with getting items picked earlier and jumped in line -- or at least only a couple instances and even those order came in very close to each other judging by order number

It's hard to keep track, but I don't think we have any confirmations cancelled items that were definitely ordered earlier in time and a later order got priority on that item. I'm sure it will eventually be found, but it's a hard thing to
confirm with just an order number

Orders really need to be shipped on a first come first served basis as that's how items get allocated to the order from stock. Its all the more compelling when its a liquidation sale like this. If later orders are shipped first, any errors in fulfillment process can easily impact orders placed earlier. And its not like these items will be stock replenished based on such mistakes. Have three orders from 5/10 and 5/11 that have not changed status since then.

Someone on Bluray pointed out a change at SAE.

S/H rates have bumped up again. Still $6.40 for 1st disc, but not $2/ea additional (up from $1.55)

And as I had feared, received this notification just now for an order placed 5/10:

An order you recently placed on our website has had its status changed.

The status of order #xxxxxx is now Partially Refunded

Order Details

Order Total: $211.13 USD
Total Refunded: $8.25 USD
Date Placed: May 10th 2020
Payment Method: Braintree (PayPal)

No details on why a refund was processed. Can only guess some title went OOS during fulfillment ?

So no idea which of the 6.95 titles went OOS? Some are more important or replaceable than others.
Hard to tell whether it was OOS by the time your order went through they were running so fast and it's taken this long to record it or it happened later and they packed things out of order.
The only way to know for sure it to figure out the item and see if anyone with a later order number had there's shipped

Maybe they developed a small semblance of morals and are refunding a small % of the shipping overcharge, lol?

Not gonna sweat it. Something like this was always on the cards. It's tough when there's a deluge of orders and the business is winding down. Hopefully there's minimal impact of this sort to other's orders. Also hoping it does not recur on my two other pending orders but won't be surprised if they do.

This is the aspect I would take most umbrage with given how much of a premium they charge on shipping. Anyways, it's a last chance sale and the prices are acceptable enough. So...
