Jesus. What the fuck are they waiting for? As someone else said in their thread in the HD area, by the time the sale goes live, you get the horror movies you order after October is over.

Them arriving after Halloween seems to have been the case for the last couple of years. It's almost like they delayed it enough to where you just assume they will arrive late so people stop contacting their CS dept. and social media asking about it.

Only some of the horror stuff. It’s usually a pretty good selection, with only a few being truly good prices and a bunch of meh prices.

Run the damn sale for one week, let's say the 10th thru the 17th and then guarantee that all packages will be shipped within a week after that. If you can't handle that as a company, you probably shouldn't be having sales.

It ran 9/29-10/7 last year. I didn't get my order until early November... same as many others.

The 2021 sale didn't start until October 22nd... 2020 was October 9th.

Sounds like they have the wrong person making decisions along with a poorly run or understaffed fulfillment warehouse.

I noted in the Amazon thread that the SHAW COLLECTIONS 1 and 2 were down to almost half price there, but couldn’t figure out who they were matching. Guess I know now. I grabbed those sets from Amazon and don’t see them in Shout’s listings (only the higher-priced third and fourth volumes), so presumably they sold out there? Amazon is matching JACKIE CHAN VOL. 2 (which I bought from them at this price a couple of months ago), but is slightly higher on VOL. 1, so I might get that one from Shout as there are four or five others there that I’ve been waiting on a while.

Got CHAN VOL. 1, IRON MONKEY, ZU and the TNT JACKSON / FINAL COMEDOWN / SAVAGE! triple feature.

I splurged and did one more order with the Piranha UHD set as my free gift. The prices are really solid, but the free gift puts it over the top. Plus, I'd be happy with just the UHD, and these are their exclusive sets with posters.
