Pretty sure a lot of those $17.00 titles were $15.00 in several previous sales. Some (but not all, I think) of the boxed sets seem slightly higher this time too, so might wise to select carefully or hold off for a different sale.

Pretty much all the £7-8 (older titles) and £10 (newer release) appear to repriced at £9 and 12.
Not sure if this is just this sale or THG's new price points for sale since they bought Arrow, I suspect the latter.

Cute. Although I didn't say everything was marked up higher than previous sales. There are still some prices there that are the same this time around – especially on some of the boxed sets (got a couple myself this time) – so thankfully it's only selective inflation for now!

I wanted a few things but the prices are just not that good. At best I'd save a buck or three over most other vendor's "everyday" prices and that's just not enough to get me to bite.

I caved on the Arrow US sale and bought the Battles Without Honor and Humanity series for $30 (included $5 shipping) + taxes. That seemed like a good deal to me.

For the record, I have seen the first, and Zombie Pestilence as well, but maybe not recently enough to come to my senses. Perhaps if I throw in the Coffin Joe 3-movie collection I will be redeemed.

They're DVDs not blu-rays, but Hal Roach fans should note that this sale includes 3 volumes of Charlie Chase talkie shorts made at Roach, as well as collections of Thelma Todd/Zasu Pitts and Harry Langdon shorts. I'd be all over these if I didn't already own them; they are well done sets.

MVD is having an Arrow Video sale. I didn't buy any movies but I did snag their book selections, because they are $4.99 each and the Cult Films of Arrow Video is $14.99. I did not buy the Lonewolf and Cub book, because that one is still regular price ($24.95). My grand total was $43.47 with sales tax and flat $5.99 shipping.
