Last year I believe Amazon matched everybody, but sometimes they match them a day or so later, and you end up playing "chicken" if it's something you're hot to get at that price. Best Buy often posts a "sold out online" notice on popular items. Of course, Best Buy allows me to tame my "impulse buys" a little, -I think I took a few early purchases back to the store after I ended up buying a little more later in the week than I thought I would,

Pretty disappointing prices on the Disney 4K titles. Glad I jumped on the recent Target B2G1.

The Disney 4K title prices are disappointing. $21-22 is still a little pricey. I want Captain Marvel and End Game, but I'm hesitating a little now. Especially since both will be on Disney + next week and I can now stream them anytime I want.

I do swing into Best Buy on Thanksgiving (yeah I'm one of those) I've done it the last 2 Thanksgivings usually after seeing a movie. It actually hasn't been horrible. I usually get in and out in 1 hour.

Last year I spent almost $600. I don't think I'll spend that much this year.

This is what I'm looking/hoping for:

and maybe a few of the regular BDs.

I think that is exactly the point. They're trying to push to the service. This is definitely a calculated thing. And disappointing.

I'll continue to wait, or just buy them used.

I might just get Captain marvel and end game as a 7.99 doorbusters on regular Blu-ray. that's pretty damn cheap and if I ever want to watch it again in 4k I can just stream it on Disney +

In for Wick 3 4k. Not sure if I'm looking for anything else this year. Maybe X-Men Dark Phoenix just to finish out the saga.

I had that happen for Avengers Endgame and Spider-man far from home (also had John Wick 3 which i was able to buy that first time). Picked save for later then clicked on it and was able to add both again. That time I got spideman and couldn’t get Avengers. Then did a 3rd time and got Avengers. So got all those just each one had to be a separate transaction. So you might try adding Captain Marvel again and nothing else.
