Almost all the recent titles were low inventory or out of stock at one point or another this morning - Malformed Men, Pajama Girl, The Baby, Apprentice to Murder, Quiet Earth, Case of the Scorpion's Tail...

The two "Death Walks" blurays at 5 pounds each seem like a good deal if you don't have them. They sell for $14.99 (per film) at BN now. I can get both of those for less than that. I'll wait for the Case of the Scorpions Tale to come back in stock before ordering.

Thanks. Definitely looking at different titles because none of mine ever had that note. And in looking at your list, Quiet Earth is out of stock now. Didn't look at the others once I saw that at least one was running out.

Picked up some horror titles I forgot to get from the Halloween Sale:
Sisters (don't like the teal look on the Criterion Blu)
Blood Rage
SOCIETY
All for 31 bucks shipped to the US. I'm happy. Wish I had a region-free player for the ones I'm missing.

Not really though the ARROW sites states it it for many.
If they released in the US and UK within a few months of each other there is a strong change it's region A compatible or Region Free.
If the UK released 2-3 years before the US edition then it's probably B locked.
If it's never released in teh US by ARROW or released by another company then a pretty good chance it's locked.
Bluray.com has many of them user checked, but a lot have never been reported.
IF YOU DON"T HOLD ME RESPONSIBLE, here is a list that should be pretty close. I'd strongly suggest doublechecking them with another source and esp if there wasn't a near simultaneous US release. If anyone noticing an error or omission please let me know.
These appear to be most the dual release items. Again I haven't confirmed the entire list since I think there are a few dual releases that are separated by
a couple years, so do you own research too.
And just to make an even longer list -- those US Arrows that don't appear to have a direct UK Arrow equivalent. These are the itmes the BN sale may be better uses

I've just started buying Arrow UK discs, but I can confirm the 2 disc version of Donnie Darko is region B locked. But I tink I've read that the standard 1 disc version is region free.

I think that's because they released Donnie Darko in the UK before releasing in the US, as opposed to other US/UK releases that were released at the same time.

If anyone needed a reason to grab an all-region player -- which can be had for cheap these days -- to sit beside your Region A model, Arrow Video is it. Then the lists won't matter!

Exactly. Which is why when I finally got a UHD 4k player I bought one that was also a region free BD/DVD player.

I have a cheap Panasonic that allows me to play Arrow Region B discs with a simple button combination.

Yeah, I agree with Brian T. Get a cheap, old but reliable A/B player.

Re: Arrow Video Christmas Sale 2018 - Dec 12 to Jan 9
The one I have — a Seiki SR4KP1– just requires a button combination to change regions. The last region B disc I tried didn’t require a combo, so I don’t know if I’ve locked it in permanently or what. (I know it was a region B disc I tried too because my other player threw a region warning.)

There are no Bluray players region free out of the box. They either require a modification or some button sequence to change between regions (one region at a time). The Seiki was one of the few that even allowed the latter. I don't think there is any player that automatically recognizes a switches region
The Panasonic workaround worked for many discs and some players, but not all Panasonics and not all discs worked (those most seemed to).

I’d recommend searching “region free blu-ray player” on eBay. There are plenty of pre-hacked brand new players from reputable electronics retailers, some of which don’t require any switching back and forth. I’ve been region-free DVD players for over a decade, but I grabbed a nice Sony blu-ray/DVD unit a couple of years ago that plays 3D to boot, for less than $100. Prices may or may not be the same these days, but I’m sure there’s a range, and the freedom of buying any disc from anywhere is mighty appealing.

Does anyone know if Arrow is still shipping some of their newer releases with first pressing booklets? Specifically, THE CASE OF THE SCORPION'S TAIL, PYJAMA GIRL CASE, and IMAGES.
Thanks!
Thanks!
