I don't know if it was mentioned here, but Community the complete series is now only $29.70 (BD) from Millcreek. I only had seasons 1-4 on DVD and got rid of them a few years ago hoping to get a complete series BD set.

I'm pretty sure this is the lowest price it's ever been. I went ahead and got it. I'm a fan of the show and there are episodes here and there I wouldn't mind re-visiting. And I missed pretty much all the 6th season, which aired on Yahoo. I know it's on Netflix, but it's not going to stay on there forever and the BD I believe has all the extras from the DVDs.

It is (at least according to the price history on CamelCamelCamel).

This box set was my first time watching season 6, which is pretty decent (and a sight better than Arrested Development’s comeback seasons).

That box set also has the Dungeons and Dragons episode that you can't watch anywhere else.

There's a Prime Exclusive Deal for Parks and Recreation complete series for 40.80. Looks like that's the cheapest it's been.

I have the series in digital on VUDU and that episode is included.

It was removed on the subscription sites like Netflix and Hulu.

One day I’ll get the 4K release of the Back to the Future Trilogy. Pretty good price but I’m still not feeling the urge to buy it quite yet.

That’s good to know. I thought it was pulled from everywhere on digital.

Mods: Could we please create a separate 4k deals section? I have no interest in 4k at all. Thank you!

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

There is a UHD-specific deals thread, but I think it’s fair to post UHD/BD combos in a thread like this. (Or if someone’s posting a list of deals, some of which are UHD, I wouldn’t argue against that either.)

I’m not sure if you’re referring to a specific post, but all of rich-y’s posts above (thanks for taking the time to do that, by the way!) have BDs in the mix as well — none of those visual recaps are strictly UHD.

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

I got the following from Prime Day on BD and DVD

Sing 2 (BD) - $9.99 I thought about getting it in 4K, but animation is rarely better in 4K and this price was good enough

Hawaii Five-O: The complete series (DVD) - $57.99. One of my favorite guilty pleasures from CBS. I have the 1st 2 seasons on BD and then CBS stopped making them. The rest of the series is on DVD, so this was probably the cheapest way to get it even though I'm double dipping sorta on seasons 1 and 2. I mean it's 10 seasons for $58. That's less than $6 per season.

The Complete Incredible Hulk television series on BD for $39 is by far the cheapest I've seen that set anywhere. I should know, I kept tracking it almost since release. Doubt Universal would drop that price much lower considering the set is 19 discs.

It's a really good deal, but I already have all 5 seasons on DVD and one of the sets I had Kenny Johnson, the creator and showrunner, sign it. If I didn't already own every season, I might be up for it.

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread

Supernatural the complete series for $129 IMO is also a really good deal. It's 15 seasons and at least 20 episodes per season. If you don't already own it or haven't seen it, it's worth it. You'll have many many months of entertainment.

If I didn't already have 13 of the 15 seasons on BD and DVD already, I would get it. It's one of my favorite series of all-time on the CW.

There are some tempting deals on TV that I'd like to upgrade my DVDs to Blu... but I think I'm done buying shows.

Yeah most recent shows can be watched on a streaming service. So I totally get the hesitation to spend good money on it.

I make the occasional 4k upgrade, but those are few and far between.
