I know some of those movies in that Columbia collection are considered classics, but honestly IMO, they aren't titles that I consider very re-watchable or something I need to own. Good price, but I'm going to pass. Don't want to buy a $75 shelf or closet decoration.

Agreed. Of that set I would maybe want Taxi Driver. Even that isn’t a film that’s endlessly rewatchable to me though.

A couple good Warner Archive prices I ran across: Take Me Out To The Ballgame at $12.50 and National Velvet at $11.20 (as I write this).
Another Thin Man - $9.99
Take Me Out to the Ballgame: Now $10.99
Ladies They Talk About - $11.20
Isle of the Dead - $11.49
and:
Doctor X - $11.59 (w/$2.40 coupon applied)

Nice. While not a full fledged '4 for $44' type WAC sales we had been used to, Amazon keeps coming through with random price drops in that price point to keep my collection going. WAC is the best game in the restoration business, specially for fare of this kind (4K and HDR are of distant interest to me personally when a WAC BD sale/release is on the horizon)

I just found the Blu-Ray of the restored WAC release of DOCTOR X (contains both the color and black & white releases) for 13.99 with a 2.40 discount coupon. Great deal for this gem.

I don't know how long this one's going to last, but Amazon has the Universal Horror Collection Volume 6 Blu-ray on sale for $39.98, and there's a coupon that you can clip that will take another $7.99 off that price, reducing it to $31.99.
The sale price is already pretty low, but the coupon made it impossible for me to resist making a purchase.

Anyone know who they're matching with all these coupons?
EDIT: Oh, I think it's the Target 20% off. In this case Amazon works out better since for Target, it only applies to in-store purchases, and is therefore a very limited selection

That's a great price! I ordered that one from Shout! for $40 during one of their sales, thinking it'd not be lower anywhere else any time soon, if at all. It's still in the shrink...

Re: Amazon: Blu-ray discounts and deals mega-thread
Probably Target - they're currently having a 20% off movies when purchased in store or ordered online for store pick up. It's a pretty lame sale for Target considering most stores have very limited selections these days. Many of the titles Amazon is PMing are listed on Target as "Not in stores" which makes them ineligible for the discount. Go figure...

Not looking a gift horse in the mouth. Some Sony titles never see a price drop - have forever been waiting for 'Robin and Marian' and 'The Three Burials of Melqiades Estrada' to drop but the latter is surprisingly included in this sale with a 20% off coupon

Great price - If I didn't already own the series on BR I'd likely get this... But it *needs* to have the 2nd "Fantastic Beasts" movie. Without that one it feels like a clearance sale in anticipation of a replacement product with all of the currently available films (which itself will be clearanced in a couple of years for the same reason). BUT - if all you want are the main Harry Potter films - it's still a great price.

My kid has been asking for these for a long time. The descriptions for the item are all over the map, though. Is it the 8 HP movies and the 1st Fantastic Beast movie, and extras? Are the discs bare bones?
