I've got everything on separate Legacy blu sets except 2 of the films from Dracula which I have on the legacy dvd set. If this is super cheap I will be irritated at myself!

Apocalypse Now Final Cut 6 disc edition is now $12.9 on Amazon. Ships in 1-4 weeks, but they're still taking orders.

I think it's worth it at this price for most everyone unless you are seriously downsizing your collection.

I recently picked this up. The first film is Millie with Helen Twelvetrees & Joan Blondell. I noticed that the darker scenes were more grain than black. I also have this on a Roan 3 DVD box. Sadly, other than sharpness (due to the higher bit rate) the Roan was obviously struck from a much higher quality print than the Kino blu-ray. This is a guess: I suspect the Roan was taken from a 35 mm print & the Kino from a 16 mm.

Considering the list price of ther Kino set, I feel like this lack of quality control is a rip off. While Roan was known for quality in the old PD DVD days, there's no way they should have been able to get a better print than Kino. Very disappointing.

If absolute lowest price is your goal then the RKO boxsets were 15.50 back in June when I picked them up from a Kino Direct sale. If you can wait, then at some point it's likely to hit that level again.

You can get 2 of the 5 on a Roan DVD along with Of Human Bondage for $8.99 today. Wish I would have paid attention, as I already own the Roan.

Not only that, but it's going to be streaming on HBO Max next year.

I have the first 9 or 10 seasons. I always get them cheap, but I also likely won't finish out the BD set since it will be streaming.
