It's a Cartwheel deal in-stores.

Tons of stuff online, with the discount appearing in checkout.

Target's prices frequently aren't amazing, so a lot of what you search for will be cheaper at other stores even after the discount, but there are some good deals to be had. For instance, the It's Alive! trilogy is $25. The first season of The Outer Limits is $50. It also applies to some (but far from all) preorders.

Thanks for the head-up. The Suicide Squad Hell To Pay steelbook is on sale for 14.99 before the 20% off. Awesome deal. Search for the those smaller label titles that never seem to go on sale. The ones I wanted were part of this 20% off deal and I picked some up.

Re: 20% off almost every movie at Target (in-stores and online): 4/29 - 5/5/18

I went browsing based on format (UHD and 3D) to narrow things down and noticed a number of preorders were marked for the 20% discount at checkout, like Ready Player One; Matrix; Gladiator; Love, Simon; and Terminator Genisys. There were many more, but I can't really remember. A lot of the prices aren't worth it even with the discount, but there are some decent preorder prices. If there's something in the future that you're interested in, it might be worth searching for it.

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up matty!

I had no idea they were bringing Gravity Falls out. My daughter will LOVE it! Her birthday is the week prior, so she may be getting a gift a tad late.

Also, it's $50 w/o Red Card as well. Shows at $62.89. Cart shows a $12.50 (20%) discount, making it $50 before tax.

There are a bunch of anime pre-orders online at pretty good prices if one is interested.

I picked up Mary and the Witch's Flower in store today, and the cartwheel coupon didn't take the 20% off automatically. Since the coupon only excludes three films, I took it to Customer Service and they adjusted it, but just a heads up.

The same thing happened to me, annoyingly. When I scanned the BD with the app, it did say 20% off, but nothing was deducted at checkout. Alas, by the time we noticed, we'd already left the store.

It's a similar story at target.com. The 20% discount applies to the DVD release but not Blu-ray.

Tron Legacy $10.39
The Violent Years $17.59
Legend of Hell House $12.71
Green Lantern 3D $11.03
Woody Woodpecker and Friends Collection #1 (DVD) $12.87

Did they pay you 11.03 to take Green Lantern 3D?

Lol. It's partly the completist in me and partly that I've never seen it before.

Doubt it. I think Target only runs this sale twice a year if we go by history.

Target cancelled my Gravity Falls (blu) order. I did have to swap payment methods (added new card) because the card I was using was compromised (a problem occasionally when per-ordering months in advance). The reason they gave was 'There was a technical issue that prevented us from fulfilling your order. '. Whatever that means. Anyone else get a cancellation?

Nope. My Gravity Falls still seems to be alive and kickin.
