Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

Couldn't find a post on Hamilton.

Anyway, I noticed they have Nightbreed DC LE for $19.95.

Hellraiser set isn't too bad, either which was initially why I went there.

By chance, did you think to try searching for bargains that include the word "Hamilton"?
The last two Hamilton Book bargain threads have been pretty popular.

"Nightbreed" is OOS/not available for purchase, and that "Hellraiser" box set is cheaper at Amazon right now.

I saw the link/description for Nightbreed before they removed it, and believe the edition they were selling was the single disc DC edition:

and not the 3-disc LE edition:

I assume the OOP LE version is the version you're hoping to receive.
Hopefully I am wrong, and you get lucky.

Keep an eye out and frequently visit Hamilton. Earlier today it went in stock for maybe 10 minutes while I was looking at other stuff. Pretty sure it's the LE but we'll see when I get the package from Hamilton. Unfortunately, I'm not the only person who discovered this and the other websites have it posted as well.

re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

Where the hell are all of these Nightbreed LEs coming from?

I remember that these sold out almost immediately. You couldn't buy them from Amazon (proper), DD, or even Shout itself. And now it seems like Hamilton has acquired a sizable cache of them from someplace.

What's next? A bunch of Halloween limited boxes showing up for $29.99?

They said they bought the very last ones from Shout.

I bought Nightbreed because I love camp horror films and even if I don't like it, I can definitely make my money back on it. Only bought one to give others a chance. Also bought the Wizard of Oz 3D giftset for $9.99. I love this store!

Just got my shipping notice. I also bought Peter Gabriel: New Blood Deluxe Edition. I'm not a huge Gabriel fan, but it seems like a great set for an awesome price.

Gah, my Nightbreed LE order is now backordered. I do not hold out any hope of actually getting it. I'm a little peeved as to how HB is shipping the rest of my order without asking if I want it still. I probably would have just dumped the rest of the order.

No retailer assumes intent that way. From a retailer's perspective, unless its explicitly stated as a policy that your order will not ship until all OOS/BOed items are back in stock OR an option is provided to that effect to be chosen by the customer prior to order placement, retailers will ship out in stock items unless the customer has canceled the order.

I got the Nightbreed set from them, but the cardboard is split on the spine. Kind of disappointing, but hopefully their customer service will work with me.

The packaging looked secure, so I doubt this happened in transit. A couple folks on the blu-ray site reported the same type of damage on their copy, so I suspect some of these are Shout Factory customer returns.

re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

My Nightbreed also had a ding; packaging was fine, so these are almost certainly customer returns. Good price, so I'm not going to complain. Watching the Theatrical Version tonight - I might be one of the few who like it better than the Extended Version. I remember seeing it in the theater and amazed at how quickly the plot moved - you had to be on your toes to keep up with it and I find that quite refreshing! --Peter

That's absolutely false. I have had several retailers e-mail with a simple box click as to whether you wanted to proceed with the order.

Regardless, I don't mind Wizard of Oz 3d for $10, I just didn't really need it and only got it as a throw in with Nightbreed.

Your alternative will be to keep it as is or a refund. There are no copies left for an exchange.

Most Full Moon titles are $9.95. Shipping is a flat $3.50 per order

Elsewhere Golden Wheels said that a new batch of titles will be up on the site tomorrow morning:

Not a ton of new blus but there is a small batch of Code Red (12 titles, some from first batch, some not) and an indie film bundle pack (weird collection of titles, you'll know what I mean when you see it) that seems like an decent value.
