Some new arrivals are up, including a decent deal on Arrow's PRAY FOR DEATH at $4.95

Pride, Prejudice and Zombies UHD for $5.95 looks like a deal.

Is it just me, or have HB's prices gotten higher in the last year? I remember one buy about a year ago that had a lot of screaming deals, including a very expensive Peter Gabriel blu/book box ($100?) for (if I remember right) under $10. I placed a fairly large order that batch.

I think they've gotten more popular recently. So a lot of their items are probably selling out before HB has to do further price cuts on them. Over on the blu-ray.com thread, a rep from HB also mentions that some other online retailers (deliberately unnamed) have noticed the deals and complained to suppliers, so there's been some adjustments there that will probably affect how deep a discount HB gets on titles.

Same here, I believe it starts working around 1am /2am PST,right after they add new items.
but it looks like if your select "the newest items" on say the blu-ray page,it is showing the new items.

re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

My last two orders with Hamilton had items that sold out after I placed the order, which made the individual items more expensive (if you divide the $4 postage by number of items) and I might have added a different item to the order if I had known I wasn't getting the ones that were cancelled). Frustrating.

When my online business was high volume, if I was out of ANYTHING, I would ALWAYS give the customer the opportunity to change the order if I was out of ANYTHING. Basic morals imo. I actually still practice that, but the business is so close to dead it really doesn't matter anymore.

That's a great price on Haven's season two Blu-ray set at $5.95. Great show that really starts picking up in season two - I'd even tell people they are fine skipping its first season, and it would be okay starting with season 2.

What Hamilton could do or could try to do, is leave the order open for a 24hr period, asking the customer if they still want the order to ship, and second, if the customer would like to add to the new revised order to keep the shipping average to close to what it was at the time of the original order.

Yep, anyone who charges shipping SHOULD do that.

Hamilton does carry a lot of close-outs and wholesale clearance merchandise, which makes it difficult for them to fill every item when stock is limited to begin with.

Agreed, they need a better real-time inventory system and they need to recompense the customer in some way if they can't fulfill an order, -either kick back a portion of the postage, or give some credit on the next purchase. As it is, I'm wary of ordering from them, which doesn't mean I won't, just that it's less likely.

A first for me...got Son of a Gun from Hamilton on Blu and I'm guessing it's Canadian based on the French on the case...and I can't redeem the digital code as it says I'm not in the right country!

re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

Hamilton does sell some Canadian Product (and a few UK and Aus discs I've run across) -- the current picture on the site front and back show the Bilingual covers though I'm not sure if it was that way when you ordered since they have occasionally shown incorrect pictures in the past. If they recently updated the item they'll probably take it back (or just refund you if you contact them). Or you could run the issue past eh Hamilton rep in the bluray.com/deals thread and see if he can offer a different solution -- his forum name in Golden Wheels over there though I could have sworn I've see that name over here as well.

Some companies will exchange Digital Copies though Lionsgate hasn't been one of the better companies for this esp since they aren;t the official Canadian Distributor,

Thanks for the info. The lack of a digital copy isn't really a deal breaker, especially at this price point. I'll just pay more attention next time.

Antonia's Line is a good deal. I've never seen it just comparing it to what the going price is on Amazon.

This is a DVD, but I couldn't find an HB thread in dvd's. They have Wonder Years Compete Series for $25. I paid a whole lot more than that.
