Looks like it's a bare bones film only double feature. Similar to The Fog/The Howling that was sold at Walmart for the same price. Looking closely, it does say Walmart exclusive. So just the films for $7.95 total.

I thought shipping was a flat $4.00 regardless of order total.

You may be right. But with the 10.2% tax & shipping there isn't much of a bargain.

As a 21 year internet retailer (though my biz is 99% dead) AND a consumer; it is so unfair to make people pay shipping AND tax. If they hadn't all gone out of business, the B&M's would be having a field day.

And with the DRASTIC increase on incoming international postage, ordering from the UK is no longer a valid way to keep it affordable.

There are a few USA mid sized retailers who are choosing to not collect tax. They always get first crack at my business. If tax was 3%, like many states, I wouldn't be so upset. But WA state has the highest tax tax of any actual USA state.

Hope puppy's ok!

I didn't realize Olive was doing contemporary film. Still unlikely to order this time around.

Thank you, Moo - pup's doing well albeit battling cancer for life, 3rd surgery in 2 years. But taking it all in the spirit of 'life has to go on'

A Miike film for under $5? Sold. I bought a few more Olive films and Electra Glide in Blue as well as a few titles that were getting low in quantity. For some reason, I always something to buy here every month no.

Likewise. Pretty much the same type of order - Electra Glide and more Olives. Plus, you know those wonderful folks at EHB

I'm going to buy The Ape eventually, but not at $15! Kino is currently charging the same price.

Miike's First Love is one of the very best movies I saw in 2020. I was recommending it as a blind buy at full price, much less $5.

And while VCI gave us a horribly questionable transfer for The Batwoman with no Spanish audio included, it's a pure hoot. A Mexican rip-off of Adam West's Batman and James Bond mashed together.

re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

Although the orders arrived quickly and most in perfect condition, the 'Silent Rage' slip cover had about a 3/4" long tear on the top right hand side, plus also seemed a bit crushed on that end due to very tight packaging. I wrote to EHB and received this in response: 'Please note, titles are not advertised has including the slipcover. As a result, a replacement cannot be processed if this is the only damaged to the item. Slips are left on the product to further protect the item during shipment'

First time I've ever had an issue ((if this can be called one)

Wow, looks like I'm gonna make an order just to get that Santo In the Treasue of Dracula flick. Had no idea they had released any of those El Santo flicks!

EDIT - nevermind, looks like it was just released in an English dubbed version. What a crock of shit.

Wow, what’s with all these Olive Films titles dump ? Most are Paramount licensed titles. Is Paramount gearing up to release some of these on their own like their Criterion withdrawn titles ?

I'm surprised how many of the Olives I'm unfamiliar with. Classic film is pretty much my thing.

very tempted, many Olive titles are slowly going OOP but been spending way too much at EHB. One other reason has been exceeding storage space at home

Isn't Up the Junction one of these OOP titles? I'll wait to buy as there are other sales upcoming. But I do appreciate the selection from Hamilton Book. There were also a couple of Scorpion Releasing titles and a cheap Shout Factory horror title among the latest drop.

My cart keeps growing. I'm kind of low income, & there's nothing I'VE GOT TO HAVE, so I haven't pulled the trigger. Only 1 title has gone oos in the several months I've been building up the cart.

You can always check on how much of a certain title is left. For the newest titles (ie stuff that was added yesterday) they limit it to one for 3 days or whatever. Anyway, on Thursday or Friday, just modify the amount of the title in the cart. Like add 50 of a title you have in your cart. If the amount they have in stock is LESS than that there will be some message.
