Now I get it, -"Superman", "Supergirl", "7 Brides" have two discs and that's why they're not in the "4 for 44" sale, but rather in the comparatively more expensive "multidisc" sale, which means I'll probably get a better deal on those elsewhere....

Yes they've been better prices multiple times at Deep Discount and B&N during certain sales. They were a better price at FYE Pi Day sale
You just have to wait, watch, and sometimes do a little work to get them at those times

OTOH, $15 isn't a bad price compared to normal daily prices from most retailers.

Currently, Deep Discount has them for 15.17, with a 10% coupon (before taxes) that can be applied.

13.50 is a very nice price for sure. They were 12.50 or less at FYE on the 14th, 11.50 during most of mid Nov to late Dec at Deep Discount, and $10-11 at BN's 40% Sale with coupons in mid December (15-20% less OOP if you used some of the BN Holiday GC 20% off deals)

For folks that want it now and esp already have a WBShop order ready to go, dislike Deep Discount (plenty of those people still around from the Purge Years) and don't want to wait for the next BN sale (Mid June) or don't want to mess with In store ordering and coupons -- the WBShop price isn't bad.

^ if you could have, what would you have picked up (realistically)?

The DVDs seem to be all over the place and I don;t know if there;s any way to know.

Thanks for the replies, fellas.
Not eager to roll the dice right now so the points moot I guess.

re: [DEAD] Warner Archive Sale - 4 for $44 + Free Shipping

Finally bit the bullet and picked up my first Warner Archive discs. $11 was a little more than I wanted to pay but it looks like that's as good as they get. I got
The Thing from Another World
Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III
Innocent Blood
Popeye the Sailor: The 1940s Volume 1

There's a few more things on my wishlist but I'm in no hurry to get them since I know this sale happens somewhat regularly.

It's good to leave some behind for deals like this so you always have at least 4 you want to qualify for the deal.

I, too, passed this time out. I'd *just* purchased The Sea Hawk and The Cyclops from deepdiscount thinking they'd not be part of a 4/$44 sale for months. While there are others I'd have picked up had I waited just a few days I decided to wait for the next one as I'm pretty tapped out for the month.

I placed an order on Saturday as well. I got a shipping notification yesterday, although the DHL tracking number isn’t working yet.

Bit of an add-on.

For those who passed at the WAC multidisc sale -- check out the Deep Discount 15% off code ($25 FS after code0
Seven Brides, Supergirl, and Superman are all $15 so with the new code it brings those items to 12.92

Many of the TV sets are also 30-35% off so net 45% discount total.

re: [DEAD] Warner Archive Sale - 4 for $44 + Free Shipping

A note for those getting DHL Tracking numbers. As best as I can tell these are registrering in the DHL Global tracking systme, but when i checked mine it appeared to actually be a UPS-MI number.

If you are still getting -??? try plugging it in at https://www.ups-mi.net/packageid/default.aspx or https://www.packagetrackr.com/ and seeing what result pops up

I think all of these will get handed off to USPS for delivery, but the USPS tracking site won't register until the day or or day before delivery when it shows up locally

Thanks hariseldon!

Looks like my package traveled via UPS and (as you mentioned) is making it's way to USPS. Hopefully will be here tomorrow but it's most likely going to be here by early next week.

"It's Christmas in July!"
WBShop 4 for $44 + Free Shipping

https://www.wbshop.com/collections/w...chive-4-for-44

July 15 through July 19 at 11:59pm PT
Appears to include items through April 30 releases and still excludes TV sets, 3D items, and Multidisc sets (Superman, Supergirl, Seven Brides, etc)
Once you get above 4 items, each added eligible item is $11 so no reason to do groups of 4.

Blu-rays by release day - 171 selections
https://www.wbshop.com/collections/w...ted-descending

Sales and use tax in all USA states except for Maine, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming

Not critical, but the last two orders I made with WB they sent me a Dispatch Notice with a DHL or FedEx link, but the tracking number was actually UPSMI so check both sites if the tracking appears dead

$11 is a great price for the blus, but feels like a bit of a rip off for burned dvdr's; though I have bought a number of them in the past.
