I ordered 11 blu's during their recent sale. I received 5 & a whopping $15 refund. They charged the same shipping for 5 blu's as for 11. I also got an extremely rude cs rep, who finally told me to call their Pay Pal specialist tomorrow.

No email asking if I wanted to go through with the order, no apologies, no nothing. This more then doubled the shipping cost per disc, & to add insult to injury the ones I didn't get (especially Saboteur) were the ones I wanted the most. If I don't get a significant refund & a promise that today's rude cs rep will be talked to or fired; I'm done with Oldies.

If it's any consolation, Saboteur can be gotten new from an Amazon Marketplace seller for $7.00. That seems to be less than half of what Oldies is asking for it.

I have almost ordered from this site tons of times but it has just never been quite worth it. Shipping usually kills the deal or I realize I am just about to buy trash because it is cheap....

The trick is to order enough for free shipping. Then when they cancel out items, (which they do all the time), it doesn't affect the shipping.

I ordered it for $3.99 from Oldies..........

"Dennis" wasn't in today. I'm going to eat this order & I have unsubscribed from their emails. They lost a good customer.

I spent 3 hours trying to find $50. I could only get it to just over $41. The cost would have been low enough per disc ($3.76 shipped) if they had filled all 11 to make it acceptable. It ended up being $5.19 per disc. I've never run into this before. And their website pretends to be updated in real time.

I am an internet retailer (though I am in process of closing down). I ALWAYS let a customer know if I am unable to completely fill an order before billing them, & I give them the opportunity to cancel. Oldies didn't say a word about this until the day the refund & package showed up.

Ah, I thought there was a longer thread. (Just responded to the one in the DVD forum.) Moo, if they owe you money, I would fight them for it, or at the very least file a complaint with PayPal.

I considered it. After close to 30 minutes on 2 phone calls, I decided to stop wasting my time & eat the relatively small amount of what I do consider being ripped off; they could very easily make a case that they don't legally owe me anything.

I just will not buy from them again.
