I don't think DD has any sort of Site wide sale anymore. Maybe not for 7-8 years (possibly longer) after they nearly went Bankrupt in the early 2010's and had to be rescued (bought out) by SuperD(now Alliance Entertainment)

They tend to have groups of items on sale year round, many of them cycling through 3-4 times per year. There's usually a 10% off code floating around with 1-2x/month 15% codes intermittently in addition to the rotating sales.

Yeah, the old supersales have been MIA for around a decade. They kept chipping away at their best discounts once Alliance more or less bought out every online media retailer outside the Best Buy/Target/Amazon cartel. It went something like from 25%, to 20%, to the now-standard 15% coupon discount on in-stock items only.

Once in a great while you can combine a 40% off preorder item with the 15% coupons.

I haven;t used them but I think that's correct. They do have the advantage is that they work on backorders, preorders, etc

What is wrong with DD's ordering system (or my account) ? Every time I try the PayPal option, the ZIP code comes up empty upon return from PayPal authorization and the order does not go through. Finally after several attempts, gave up and checked out with a CC. Order placement failed with a message saying 'check your account for correct data' or something like that. (Using Chrome).

Edit: Tried on Edge as well, same result. Gave up

The credit card part has been like that for a long time but the paypal should work. Usually it just uses the shipping address from paypal. Have you tried one of the more private browsing tools like incognito.

Thanks. Tried Chrome incognito and PayPal option. No dice. Same issue, the ZIP code does not transfer to the shipping address on DD and Order processing keeps saying incomplete data.

Maybe you could place an order over the phone by calling them. Most people on the other site were able to order with paypal, but not by credit card..
