Where to get a Blu-Ray 3D Player Region Free

Does anyone know where I can buy a Blu-Ray 3D Player that's Region Free? So it will play 3D movies and DVDs Region 1-8, and Blu-Rays Region A-D. Thank you.

Amazon is also a good source for region free Blu-Ray players. I 've been very happy with the Saachi 3d player I bought from them a few years ago.

SOme of the these have Ebay stores where you can negotiate/best offer and the Ebay $15off $75 that show up regularly can help on price if you're patient (several folks did this yesterday). Some have used/refurbs.

If you want "Best of the Best"/Money no Object, then Oppo directly or via Amazon and get the Region Free plug module.

I have that "module" for the 95. I thought the Oppo blu hack hardware circuits had been pulled off the market by the USA gvt? I haven't seen it for sale in years. Bought mine on ebay for $30 in 2012.

I know the labels forced Oppo to remove iso compatibility from the firmware which really sucks.

Videohelp.com has quite a list of hacks to make players region free. These hacks usually only involve pressing a few buttons on your remote. They also have an extensive list of players but 3D is not listed in the advance search terms. If you don't want to spend a small fortune Philips players are usually very easily made region free.

My understanding is the handset hacks only work on dvd, NOT on blu-ray. Am I wrong?

A handful of Blu-ray players have been released that only needed a code to change regions for BD play.

The most famous is probably the Seiki player.

I have a Seiki SR212S I got @ K-Mart a few years ago for $30, and I love it. There isn't a DVD or BluRay I've thrown at it that it won't play. :D
