Yeah.
People complain about DD sales being a shadow of what they were, but I still use them strategically.
Warner Archive is who I no longer bother with. And I would routinely drop $100-$200 on the $10 per title sales this time of the year. Glad now that I bulked up when I did.

Ironically, any new WA titles I want I usually get in a DD sale. I used to pay just under $11 with tax from from WA and it's usually between $11-$12 with DD and a coupon. Even better they don't require a 5 title minimum.

I ended up going the Deep Discount route. I had been wanting to order some of these titles, and it seemed as good of a time as any. My one worry is Murder My Sweet. It's not currently in stock, and I know Deep Discount has a tendency to cancel items that are backordered. We'll see what happens.

I wanna chime in as well about Deep Discount. I regularly shop their site and have had absolutely no issues ordering from them. For me, Deep Discount is the better choice for these titles, especially if you do not pay tax.

They Were Expendable was backordered when I ordered it.
Just got an email that it shipped.

Doggone it- forgot about Murder My Sweet. Had planned to pick that one up too.

From a moral pov (LONG story), I have a major issue with DD & the other sites owned by Super D. As a consumer, they often do have the best deals.

I'll back what you said. I know others have had problems, but I have no major gripes with them. The only times I've had any problems, they were dealt with. The only annoyance I have had is with them canceling items because they are backordered. If a store doesn't want you ordering items not in stock, itshould update the website with that function, not cancel orders placed in good faith. For in stock items, I haven't had any issues.
