So everyone should be on high alert around noon tomorrow. I'd just as soon they slide to next week with McCabe and Mrs Miller and Boyhood releasing though already the BN sale is too close to get too excited. I'll save Dekalog and the GDT Box (assuming I just don;t get PL alone) to go with the Lone Wolf boxset for November
I'm assuming it is today as well. I also am hoping they include the following week's new items (Boyhood, McCabe), which they have been known to do.

Re: Criterion Flash Sale Sep-Oct 2016 ??

Maybe it will happen next Tuesday, which would include Short Cuts among the eligible titles. When does the B&N sale usually start in November?

I would tend to agree with this. But I generally like giving at least $100 directly to Criterion during these sales. It also goes to the rewards program.

Looks like 11/1 is official for the B&N sale?

Re: Criterion Flash Sale Sep-Oct 2016 ??

I think a lot of people have at last a $10 credit in their Criterion's account, so there will be more direct orders than ever. I'm certainly going to get at least a couple titles. Between saving on tax and shipping it's not hard to match what many of us pay at B&N anyway.

Re: Criterion Flash Sale Sep-Oct 2016 ??

Yeah, as I indicated in another thread, I am focusing my resources on the likely Twilight Time sale over at SAE in November and Barnes & Noble's Criterion and 40% off Blu-ray sale which are both just weeks away.

Re: Criterion Flash Sale Sep-Oct 2016 ??

My plan would be -

From CC: The Immortal Story, Chimes at Midnight, Boyhood, Blood Simple, McCabe & Mrs. Miller -- I have a $10 credit to use

From B&N: Dekalog (using the Black Friday coupon, hopefully 30%), Pan's Labyrinth (maybe would get through CC sale if included), Dreams, Punch Drunk Love, The Squid and the Whale, One Eyed Jacks, Valley of the Dolls -- I will have GC from my credit card points to use.

Amazon: Lone Wolf and Cub -- pre-order for $40 due to price error

Going to B&N and trying to get coupons to be taken has been a hassle lately. I did like in July being able to use a 15 or 20% off entire order online. I would love if that happened again. I wouldn't have to go to the store at all.

Re: Criterion Flash Sale Sep-Oct 2016 ??

Looks like the BN sale is starting real soon (11/1).
So the Dekalog set and the Lone Wolf and Cub set could be had for only $32 Each on Black Friday (with 30% off coupon & 10% off membership coupon)?

Would my math be correct on that, hariseldon?

I would also guess that is why announcements were on Friday and not today.

Re: Criterion Flash Sale Sep-Oct 2016 ??

I just want the Trilogía de Guillermo del Toro. I've never ordered from the site before and still have the $10 facebook coupon. So if I can grab that during the sale, I'll be happy.

Think I earned enough points for some Criterion Bux too!

Yep, that's the problem I'm facing now. $46.92 on just TRILOGÍA DE GUILLERMO DEL TORO or adding Boyhood and spending $59.94.
