I finally lucked into ordering What Have You Done to Solange. It doesn't seem to stay in stock for long.

There are still a few I've got my eye on that are out of stock. I'll keep checking. I can't believe I missed when The Mutilator came back in stock.

Re: Arrow Films 50% Off Sale - Barnes & Noble

I finally placed my orders for Eaten Alive and The Mutilator! Get them while you can.

I think the last one I really want to get that's still out of stock is Blood Rage.

It may even just be listed as such to make sure they take care of pre-orders before taking new ones...

In Stock -- American Horror Project 1
The American Horror Project contains three rare, unrelated films. It's a grab bag of mixed success.

The Premonition

Malatesta's Carnival of Blood

The Witch Who Came From the Sea

The Premonition is fairly interesting, if a bit slow. The director clearly had high hopes of molding it into a mainstream horror hit such as Carrie.

Grindhouse fans should like The Witch Who Came From the Sea a great deal. It's a completely different kind of slasher that holds up rather well today.

I found Malatesta a waste of time unless you are heavily into low-budget filmmaking nostalgia.

I've ordered so much from this sale already, but dammit, these prices are outrageously good. Just made another order for Dead End Drive-In and Slugs.

Re: Arrow Films 50% Off Sale - Barnes & Noble

I placed my order for Blood Rage from the Arrow site. Part of me wishes I had waited to order directly from Arrow and saved a few bucks, but you never really know what titles will be included or the availability. Besides, at least now I have a few titles already in hand.

What titles from the sale would you recommend? I think the Arrow UK sale is finally going to push me into a region free player.

UK site now has a flash sale underway...
I think I read that Immoral Tales and The Beast have different bonus features on their US/UK releases. So, a) are either worth getting, and b) are the fldifferences in extra bits worth caring about..?

Re: Arrow Films 50% Off Sale - Barnes & Noble

Does this sale end tonight?

I just bought a barnes and noble membership today so I could get free shipping but was told by customer service that it takes 48 hours to apply? Now I'm feeling kinda fucked.

Thanks for all the info. Unfortunately, I did sign up at home on their website. Not in store. That's why I was expecting it to apply to my account same day. The customer service guy I spoke to last night said I had to wait 48 hours but I'll try again for someone a little more willing to help.

The last time I signed up at midnight on a Friday I didn't get the membership accepted email/number until the next morning. the same thing happens with e-GC -- during the day I often get them in 15 minutes, late night purchases often take a bit of time to show up or be approved as a legit purchase.
Awesome. Hopefully it will pop soon. I bought my membership at around 5pm est yesterday and got my acceptance email with my membership number within 15 minutes. It just doesn't show on my account and when I go to add a membership manually it says I have one already.

My free shipping didn't trigger at first, but B&N refunded all my shipping charges.

Re: Arrow Films 50% Off Sale - Barnes & Noble

FINALLY, Dead End Drive-In comes back in stock, allowing me to complete an order using the 15% coupon:

Dead End Drive-In
Rage of Honor
Pray for Death
Slugs

With that -- plus one last order at the U.K. site sale -- I've now got every extant Arrow title I need (and a few that I probably didn't ) from both sides of the pond.

Re: Arrow Films 50% Off Sale - Barnes & Noble

I placed my order for Dead End Drive-In last week but got an email a day or two ago saying there would be a delay in shipping. I don't mind. I certainly have enough to watch, and at least I was able to lock in the price.
