I took advantage of this sale to stock up on a ton of catalog Paramount titles. It looks like Warner Bros. is quietly dumping many titles on the cheap. Amazon had a Paramount/Warner "3 for $20" deal that had a decent collection of titles...but I still had to pay for tax so that made each blu-ray about $7. Luckily, the Deep Discount sale hit a couple of days after I placed my order and since Amazon had sat on it for days, I cancelled much of what I had ordered from them in favor of Deep Discount. I did a search for "in-stock" Blu-ray titles from lowest to highest and found a ton of Paramount titles sitting at the bottom of the price barrel. I snagged 25 Paramount Blu-rays, including the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider double feature—26 titles in all for $152.72—shipped. That's an average of $5.87 per title! I saved nearly $30 over Amazon to get essentially the same titles. Deep Discount actually had a few of the more obscure Paramount Blus. By the way, my complete Deep Discount order shipped in less than 24 hours and the Amazon order of just 9 titles is not even being prepared for shipping at the time of this writing.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider Double feature is mis-spelled as "Laura Croft" so it doesn't come up on a "title" search. It was priced at just $5.54 before the 15% discount—so $4.70 for the double feature. Between the Olive sale and this self discovered "Paramount Sale," I've really scored well at Deep Discount. These are Black Friday prices without all the hassle.

The only two Paramount catalog titles I've yet to get seem to never be on sale. Marathon Man and Death Wish.

I've been rebuilding a collection I sold off a few years ago so I am thankful I can pick so many up on the cheap nowadays. I snagged Marathon Man not too long ago under $10...I think from Deep Discount.
