Shame they're not posting the prices in advance.

Thanks for posting the link. Last year was a bust. Hopefully this year will be better.

Re: Amazon Prime Day Lightning Deals - 7-12-2016
True. There area actually a few BR deals I have my eye on this year as well as some in gaming and possibly computers.
What annoys me is Prime doesn't extend across Amazon storefronts. I'd like to at least be able to use my US Prime benefits to take advantage of "Prime only" deals in other Amazon countries even if "free" shipping wasn't available. :( |
Re: Amazon Prime Day Lightning Deals - 7-12-2016
And the times are PST, correct?

Re: Amazon Prime Day Lightning Deals - 7-12-2016
All the ones I saw that might have been of any interest to me I already own, paid BF prices or got them for an outstanding price to begin with. The listing of potential Prime Day DVD/BD deals looks like a pass for me.
None of the 69 items I have in my cart, saved for later, have budged in price except Heroes: Reborn, and I'm in no big hurry for that one. |

Vincent Price Collection III $29.99. Good enough for me.

Yeah, I kept getting a message saying it was unable to add to cart, but it eventually did. I'm guessing heavy Amazon traffic will cause issues like this. Just hoping it gets ironed out soon. At least it went through.

Prime Day makes absolutely no sense being on July 12th. They had four days to choose from in July (granted, two of them require 'fudging' a zero) - this is an Epic Fail of Amazonian proportions! --Peter

I don't see anything that I want.

I picked up a miniSD card that I needed anyway for five bucks off. We're eyeballing the Roomba.

I halfheartedly put a Woody Allen bundle (four films for $36) in my cart.

I got one too; had to click Add to Cart about a dozen times or so before it took though. Hoping my luck holds out for Vincent Price Collection II, too.

Hopefully it's fixed and will not recur when the Vincent Price II set goes on sale... I also snagged a $10 gift card credit. So far, nothing exactly spectacular but I'm finding a bit more to watch and better prices than last year. |
Re: Amazon Prime Day Lightning Deals - 7-12-2016
Yep. Lame again this year. UK is way better and I agree, I wish our Prime did allow us to order from other countries. It's not like we're not already in their system.
I also picked up the Price set and had the same technical issues. Normally, that would have bugged me but for some reason it didn't. I just kept clicking every so often and it finally took. A heads up, I did try to get one other item. While I was looking for some other stuff on the site, my 15 minutes ran out. Normally, you could just re-add it to your cart but for some reason it wouldn't. Kept saying it was trying to add it. The other thing to note, some of these sale items are third party sellers. |

Re: Amazon Prime Day Lightning Deals - 7-12-2016
I'm calling it, these sale prices suck. Selection is actually okay, but these are not sale prices by any stretch, just a few bucks up to 20% off the regular price.

Re: Amazon Prime Day Lightning Deals - 7-12-2016
And Black Mass only went down to $10.99, would it have killed them to go to $9.99? And Community Season 6 at $15.49...*roll eyes*. $9.99 for BM and $12.99 for Community would have sold me.
I have two remaining (Blacklist S1 and S2) on my watch list but I'm not expecting much. According to Camel Camel Camel, Blacklist S1 has been as low as $14.96 and S2 has been as low as $12.99. If they match those, I'll listen, otherwise this Prime Day can be a big ole zeeeeeero. |
Re: Amazon Prime Day Lightning Deals - 7-12-2016
Creed on Blu for $10.99
San Andreas is listed at $9.49 |
