Weird. Add enough of these to your cart and the price on many of them actually JUMPS to $10. Perhaps they forgot to separate some of them from the bundle pricings? Or maybe it's my browser?

No, you're right. Upon adding the 11th title, the price on the 1st 7 in the cart jumped to $10 each, leaving the remaining 4 at $6.95 each. Some weird conflict from the '7 for $70' bundle pricing. Upon removing the 4 titles after the first 7, prices still stayed put at $10 each reflective of the bundle pricing overriding current pricing. They need to remove the bundle offer and re-instate it after this limited sale

Re: Twilight Time Blu-Ray Deals

I emailed SAE and they confirmed that the problem is indeed tied to the 7/$70 sale, which TT didn't want to suspend just for this sale. So basically you can get 7 of the $6.95 titles that also happen to be included in the bundle, but any over that jump to $10, but SAE will adjust the pricing after you place the order if you send a request with the order number.

None. Starts at $4.95 and increases per title. You do have an option to choose Media Mail as an option knocking off a few dollars compared to the default First Class rate

Yeah, I pretty much stick with SAE unless TT has something they don't, which is almost never.

Heh, I'm the opposite...I tend to stick with TT because I figure they get more of the money back. I picked up Eureka, Year of the Comet, and Shadows & Fog.

Re: Twilight Time Blu-Ray Deals

Does anyone else have a TT price threshold? Unless its something that is in danger of going OOP I'll never do the RP 29.95 or the 19.95 SP. I always wait for the 14.95 sale price before I pull the trigger.

Just picked up The Fortune Cookie, Interiors and Another Woman at the 14.95 price point.

I am starting to, at least on blind buys. If it's something I really want, I can spend the $30 but that's a rare occasion now. But I mess with the 15 and unders now for the most part. Case in point, I want Wild Bill but it's $20 and I figure I can wait and get the other three I mentioned.

I think their whole business and pricing model is shit especially compared to Criterion or Arrow. I swore I wouldn’t buy anything from them and I couldn’t believe people were paying $30 for these discs. BUT, there are a lot of titles I wanted. So now I just wait, like you, until they are 15 or lower. If they sell out, then they sell out. Someone else will release the bigger titles eventually.

and now you have UK company Indicator putting out blurays of most of TT's Columbia/Tri-Star exclusives that are Region Free, with generally the same video quality but a lot more extras.

*sigh*, I told myself I wouldn't and then Love and Death only had 70 copies left (@ SAE only) and the temptation was too strong. And of course, if I'm going to pick up one...might as well pick up a couple more (World of Henry Orient @ 9.95 and Mississippi Mermaid @6.95). Twilight Time, oh Twilight Time.

Good call on Love and Death. One of the Top 10 titles in their entire catalog.

Millcreek is releasing the three Columbia Charles Bronson movies that TT previously released as part of a box set. HARD TIMES, VALACHI PAPERS, STONE KILLER. Sure to be inferior quality. The set also includes BREAKOUT which has never been released, so if you want BREAKOUT you have to buy the set even if you have the TT discs of the others.

Re: Twilight Time Blu-Ray Deals

New Screen Archives TT sale starts today, March 14, at 4 pm eastern, runs until March 28

15 titles 15 days for $15 each:

EDGE OF ETERNITY
THE EMPEROR IN AUGUST
HARLOCK SPACE PIRATE 3D/2D
JULIA
THE LAST DETAIL
PANIC IN NEEDLE PARK
PEYTON PLACE
PIRATES OF BLOOD RIVER
RUNAWAY TRAIN
SNAKE IN THE EAGLE'S SHADOW / DRUNKEN MASTER
STATE FAIR
STONE KILLER
TWO FOR THE ROAD
U-TURN
THE VALACHI PAPERS

Technically it's 16 titles , and I believe these are new lows for some titles. Really good price on Harlock for 3D fans, and the 3D is excellent.

Harlock was one of the last titles I paid full price for but in the same breath it's a pretty good movie, and looks fantastic. With that said, I'm avoiding this sale after buying 6 titles in the last one. I do want the Jackie Chan one, but it's not enough for me to buy it on its own and I'll bide my time for $10 if it happens.

Also U-Turn is a really good movie. I don't know how it's stayed around this long.
