Bit on some of the $10 titles. Taking my chances that the $20 titles will drop to $10 sometime in the near future. If not, oh well..

Same here.If it is A release I really want I'll pay a little more.
Like At Close Range was $15 on A previous sale.

Bought
COWBOY (1958)
BOBBY DEERFIELD (1977)
IN THE FRENCH STYLE (1963)
THE MEMBER OF THE WEDDING (1952)

SAE has A media mail option and saved about another $3.00.
Not sure if Twilight Time website has media mail option.

Okay thanks.I been kind of out of the loop.Buying less media these days.Never ordered from the TwilightTime site(yet).

I just look and my order from SAE back in March was also media mail.

TT has announced that La Bamba has officially SOLD OUT.

This is another cautionary example of a title that was never on the Low Quantity Alert list before selling out. This has happened with a few titles; for example, Two Rode Together and Steel Magnolias.
Got La Bamba awhile back.I'll have to check to see if I own Two Rode Together when I get back home.Yes I own to many movies.

Re: Twilight Time Blu-Ray Deals

I ordered at TT's site and got Moscow on the Hudson and U Turn after much deliberation. At the end of the day, I'll get much more mileage (pun intended) out of U-Turn than Remains of the Day. I chose First Class shipping since it was only about 30 cents difference between that and media mail. But then again, I usually get more titles. Too bad Runaway Train wasn't part of this sale, I believe it was part of another sale....but I couldn't find anything else I wanted. Oh well, at least I got me some vintage Robin Williams so to speak.

I notice MAN FROM LARAMIE is now tagged as OOS on Screen Archive's list. Gone at TT, as well.

Perhaps they're not announcing 'Low Quantity' to prevent scalpers from taking advantage

I grabbed BOBBY DEERFIELD, like everyone else I'll see if anything else on my list drops further in their price tiers. Maybe BF?

Could be. I noticed a TT comment on Facebook that mentioned The Last Detail, The Buddy Holly Story and The Front are sold out at TT's own site, so maybe that's a hint to grab them at SAE for those who don't already own them. Then again, they also state that SAE is their primary distributor and thus always has more copies for a lot longer. Still, might be worth keeping an eye on them.

In another FB comment, they say: "others that are very close to gone are the 3D titles - Man in the Dark, Mad Magician etc. And also popular titles such as 3 Worlds of Gulliver."

I had been holding off, but your comment pushed me to go ahead and place an order. I really want Mad Magician, and I sort of feel like this is my second chance with The Front. I've always put off buying it and thought that it was actually completely sold out.

Total order:
Mad Magician
The Front
Places in the Heart
The Big Heat (missed this before, didn't want to miss again)
Cat Ballou
Mississippi Mermaid
Miss Sadie Thompson

Re: Twilight Time Blu-Ray Deals

'The Man from Laramie' is now OOS. Region B UK release from Eureka is the only option now

EDIT: BrianT has already mentioned this in a few posts above

At the $15 point, I feel good about getting it even if it does go to 10...same with Moscow. I'm a sucker for small town road movies and the same with older Robin Williams films. My order shipped yesterday too and will be here on Monday.

Re: Twilight Time Blu-Ray Deals

Just bought Mad Magician, my second TT disk, and I'd be okay if it was my last.

The Front caught my eye, but there's a UK BD from Powerhouse that aside from booklet differences, appears to be a superset of TT's offering and should be available for quite some time.

I'm also interested in Moscow on the Hudson, but will pick it up when/if the price slips more. If I can believe Amazon, the original widescreen Sony DVD with the commentary finally seems to be in good supply (vs. the full screen version and the bare bones Mill Creek), which would be an acceptable consolation.

Ordered The Mad Magician and Miss Sadie Thompson when the sale went live and received both today. Hate that I missed out on La Bamba.

Re: Twilight Time Blu-Ray Deals

I should have received the two titles I ordered last night, they even say delivered. But unfortunately while one of my packages from elsewhere made it, this one is nowhere to be found. Usually (fingers crossed) it just got misdirected right at the end and will be in my box today. But I probably should call the post office in an hour or so and make sure that happens. *sigh*.

Re: Twilight Time Blu-Ray Deals

Looks like GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER has under 100 copies left.
But there is also the Sony release for around $10.

Bonjour Tristesse looks to be sold out.
