If you've been annoyed that amazon.com is still asking $32.99 for the first season of Agent Carter, zavvi.com has a Marvel deal going right now where this region-free set is just $14.79. Shipping that to the U.S. on its own is $1.42, bringing the total to $16.37 -- half what Amazon is charging. The first season of Agents of SHIELD is the same price.

If you get the first seasons of both shows, there's a multi-buy deal that brings that already low price down to $23.67 for the pair, or less than $12 each.

Alas, the second season of Agents of SHIELD isn't on sale, though.

Just an FYI, that is the S1 DVD. S1 Blu-ray is only about $5 more, however. Use the code I mentioned earlier (I think I'll make a Zavvi thread) for another 10% OFF.

True, but the US versions of Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD don't come with digital copies.

Same here. But I placed the order anyway... Perhaps I should have waited, to see if I could find more good stuff to add to the order.

Thanks, Adam. I get almost all our Marvel BD's from the Disney Movie Club during 60% off sales, but Agent Carter hasn't been offered since it's been an Amazon exclusive.

Amazon UK seems to be running the same 15.99 multi buy sale. But it would still come out cheaper buying from Zavvi thanks to the cheaper shipping costs.

Good catch. Amazon "would" have been about the same price, if they backed out the VAT. But they never do on bundles or lightning deals. Such a shame... I would have rather gone the Amazon route. I've had issues with Zavvi in the past (they sent me the wrong item, and wanted me to pay to send it back to them). I never ordered from them again, until now...

I got Agent Carter and Ant-man. I thought about Agents of Shield, but the first two seasons are on Netflix and Carter isn't available to stream anywhere, that made the decision easy for me.

Thanks for posting about this. After some thought, I decided to go with season 1 of Agent Carter and Shield. I also picked up the first Captain America in 3D. I've needed that one for a long time but never seem to find a good price on it. There were some good 3D prices, especially if you buy more than one title, but I was only lacking that one movie title.

Never ordered from the other side of the pond, except for Amazon UK. So Zavvi's an experiment for me. But Agent Carter and SHIELD for c. $25 is too good to pass up. Fingers crossed.

For what it's worth, I've only ordered from them one other time, but it was a pretty large order. I was very happy with the experience. It was multiple shipments, but everything arrived quickly and in good shape.

I've only ordered from them once before (importing Arrow's collector edition of Deep Red), but I didn't have any complaints there.

I've ordered from them over 10 times. Never had an issue. However, I have heard forom others that their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, but I have never had to contact them.

I ordered Agent Carter and Agents of Shield S1, I got an order update at 3AM yesterday morning that AOS was on special order from the supplier, and expected to be shipped by May 9. But then 12 hours later I got a shipping notice for it.

Haven't heard a peep about Agent Carter as of yet.
