Could be a Walmart-sponsored promotion. Walmart has a few bucks to spare to get people into their stores for potentially more purchases.

Almost got my Paypal today, but then got an email that said the funds from Topcashback are under investigation. I wonder if a large number of Paypal transactions are making them concerned about fraud? I answered Paypal's investigation questions to the best of my ability - they better not invalidate the transaction....that would be tragic after all this work.

The typical customer acquisition cost for a site like TopCashBack is somewhere around $25-30 per person. The current owners likely want to grow their site's list of potential and confirmed users for an upcoming private sale of the company.;)

For many Internet-based businesses, the exit strategy is a bigger competitor purchasing your company.

Got my Amazon Gift Card. Applied the $22.66 directly to my already-discounted pre-order of Uncharted 4.
Thanks again for the great deal. Totally worth the extra 2 week wait for TFA Blu Ray.

I went ahead and used my Amazon gift card from them just in case.

Once again - thanks, OP!
TopCashBack payment received (and already spent at Amazon).

Nice deal - and a hell of a lot quicker than 14 weeks...

I showed the disc to my grandson (age 12) last night and asked him to guess how much it cost. It took him *several* attempts before he landed on "Nothing?" so I told him I was *paid* ~$.75 to take the copy. He said I wasn't paid enough... :D

Quick question about his. I requested Amazon gift card the other day on this. It said it has been paid out, but I have not received an email. I can't seem to find anything on the site to find out the information or if the gift card is listed. I looked at the part where it said Amazon gift cards and it isn't listed. Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to open a support ticket with them until I make sure there isn't something I'm missing.

Edit: maybe I'm not missing anything. it said it is still pending on a completely different screen.

They don't exactly make it easy to find what you're looking for on the site.

As others have posted, I had the Amazon credit about a day after submitting it, but I found out by logging in and checking, not by getting an e-mail. I did, however, receive an e-mail a day after that.

I went with the AMEX giftcard back in April but today they just credited me with an Amazon giftcard  (I don't even know how they got my Amazon info, they lucked out that the email I used on their site is my Amazon email, but this is a huge assumption that I'd want it on that account... what if it was a closed account I didn't use anymore?) (and they gave me $25.12... I'm assuming it's from them as I never got an AMEX gift card and I'm randomly just given gift cards at Amazon).

False alarm it ended up being because of an Apple ebook antitrust suit that I never participated in

Wouldn't it be nice if they did this again for Rogue One?
