Wow! Those are incredible prices, and I guess everyone agrees, seeing as how picked over the stores around me already are.

They're pricematching Target on Ex Machina. Target has a bunch of really good prices going right now. Hacksaw Ridge is $8.50, Bad Times at the El Royale, Venom, and Forrest Gump are $15, and Hereditary is $17, among others.

It won’t ship for a while, but The Lego Movie 2 is $9.99 at Amazon with the coupon code 10LEGO.

Is it an English version? It shows cover art with a Spanish subtitle.

Re: 4K / Ultra HD Blu-ray: Discounts and deals

I think Warner authors a single disc worldwide with a zillion language options. I feel confident that we'll have an English track on there.

I'm not sure about the cover art, though. I'm seeing the same thing you are, but when I search for the ASIN, I see it referenced for pre-orders with English language cover art. I'm guessing that's a recent change and hopefully a non-issue...? It's the only version of the movie I see on there in 4K.

I think Amazon just scanned the wrong cover art. Worse comes to worse, just tell them and return it for the English version. I had them send me a Blu-ray only version of a movie once that was supposed to be a combo (DVD + Digital HD too) and they had no issue swapping it.

Re: 4K / Ultra HD Blu-ray: Discounts and deals

Anyone know what's up with the Amazon 4K sale going on? Are they price-matching someone? Lot of good prices going on, mostly $14.99.

The $13 prices for Bumblebee, Venom, and Creed II are price-matching Target.

The $14.99 prices are mostly (if not entirely?) from Best Buy, who have around 100 (!) titles on sale for $14.99 right now.

Thanks. I was thinking they had to be a price match of some kind.

Best Buy more or less has their entire media section on sale in stores. I've never seen so many items on sale at once.

I hope this isn't to thin the inventory and then not replace it

I'd guess it's to make a big splash for Father's Day. Studios like getting rid of excess inventory in June and retailers have always pushed media sales hard for the holiday.

I saw that yesterday after ordering those titles from Target on Sunday. I was annoyed that I missed a deal until it suddenly dawned on me that it was just one penny lower.

Amazon has matched, by the way.

True but when when you checkout with store pickup you get $1 off each title.

YMMV on that as I tried that and was not offered it. I got the offer last week on 2 Arrowverse sets, but not Bumblebee or Creed II

Same here. I ended up ordering some other titles from Best Buy and they didn't offer the $1 either.

I think the trick to the $1 store pick-up credit is that you have to have enough items in your cart to qualify for free shipping (i.e. $35 or more). THEN, when you checkout, choosing free shipping, they will offer you a $1 credit to pick it up in-store rather than ship it to you (and losing money on the free shipping).

Amazon has dropped "The Dark Knight Trilogy" 4K set to $42.59. I had to go to AmazonUK awhile back to get it for 38-something US dollars. I noticed several 4K box sets coming down on price on Amazon this week.

A lot of Barnes and Noble non coupon Price Matches going on Amazon right not. Amazon didn't used to bother with BN, but a year or two ago they seemed to add them to their algorithm
B&N coupon price is is around $36 if you can grab a 15% off code from their site. A lot of people find adding something to their cart and leaving it overnight while signed into your account and BN will send an email the next
morning offering a coupons -- or you can open a fresh browser or Chrome In-cognito to BN.com and a popup usually shows up with a coupon offer for entering any new email address (code pops up at the top of the page normally).
