I wonder if the "Limited Edition" portion of the tin is finally going away for a more standard packaging. I see separate listings now for the LE with the standard 4K cover being shown on the listing with the other formats.

Today's the last day to take advantage of some of the Ultra HD Blu-ray discounts on Target (and, consequently, Amazon), like Ready Player One for $23.99 and A Quiet Place for $19.99.

Also, someone on blu-ray.com's forums pointed out that Brickseek indicates that Predator will be $17.96 in-store at Walmart on Tuesday.

Pitch Perfect 3 UHD is $12.99 at Best Buy. A nice price for a 4K disc. But I can’t justify paying more than $5 for that movie. So I’ll have to just go with the blu.

Edit: it looks like this is part of a larger sale of 2 for $22 Universal UHDs.

Looks like the same sets as the ones at Wal-Mart. Yeah, no blu’s or digital copies, but for $15 for 2-3 4K movies, it’s well worth it.

The biggest problem with those is that for most UHD, no Blu-ray = no special features.

Lionsgate sometimes does include extras on their Ultra HD Blu-ray discs (which I'm not sure I've seen any other studio do), although I'm not sure if that's the case for these titles in particular.

E Unit

I have the Expendables set from when Wal-Mart had it on sale. I can confirm the UHD discs are movie only, no extras on any of them. So if you like extras, especially for these movies, then buy the blu sets, or hang onto them when buying the UHD's. I will say that the UHD presentation is very good, and the sound in particular is reference. The picture is better than the blu, but not reference compared to other 4K UHD's.

I'll assume the other sets are movie only as well since they are all Lionsgate.

I think I'd personally prefer a 4k/DVD or BD/DVD choice. I have more dvd players than blu ray, and only one 4K player. Or how much can it cost to toss the dvd in there as well?

I can live with 4K disc without blu ray or digital copy for these prices.
But NOT okay if there are no extras !!

Even though I currently don't have 4K TV (have and love 1080P Panny Plasma) - I could just buy a 4K player and use the 4K disk as 1080p source essentially making blu ray irrelevant.

The entire Mission: Impossibe 4k series (including Fallout) is on VUDU for $70 right now. About $11.50 each. I'm still a physical media guy, but that's a damn tempting price.

Likewise, Ready Player One is only $12.

No idea but summer blockbusters and superhero flicks seem like safe bets. Ready Player One, Jurassic World 2, Deadpool 2, etc.
