Is that GCU deal still going on where it's taking 20%? If so, that should stack then.

No. I think it was just that one week, tying into the launch of the Xbox One S.

There is a glitch on the Best Buy buy 1 get 1 half off. As long as you add the cheaper movie to your cart first, it takes half off the more expensive movie. It also works on pre-orders. I ordered the steelbook versions of Magnificent Seven and Jason Bourne.

Cool but aren't both of those $29.99 each? That's what I see when I pull both of those steelbooks up online.

Yeah, I was talking about other combos. Like some people were doing Star Trek Beyond and Tarzan and getting Beyond for $15 and Tarzan for $20.

Nice, I used the second and third Hunger Games movies at $20 to get those steelbooks at $15. I'm trying to decide whether Suicide Squad is worth getting with this deal.

I don't feel good about it, but I placed an order for Da Vinci Code + Bourne 5 Movie Collection, and cancelled an earlier order that had Jason Bourne in it. As you might guess the Bourne Collection 4K is 50% off with the current sale.

Yeah, that Bourne Collection for $45 is fucking nuts. I'm even thinking about that as well, and I don't even have a 4K TV!!

This is what I did, except I picked up Angels & Demons cause I like it more. Getting a free ticket to see Inferno doesn't hurt either.

Looks like the Bourne collection is no longer able to be added to the cart.

I ended up ordering a couple different bundles, now I just have to figure out which ones I end up keeping

Jason Bourne 4K steelbook ($15) + Magnificant Seven steelbook ($30)

Jason Bourne 4K collection ($45) + Secret Life of Pets ($30)

Go for the Bourne Collection option. 4 movies at about $11 each for those is a steal.

Ha, indeed. Yeah meant 5 movie collection. Either way, great deal for that. That would be a great way to quickly boost UHD sales, start pricing then at $15 or so. And if you already have it in the cart Matty, you may want to get it now since it's no longer available as part of the promo.

Yeah, I ordered everything already. I figured they were going to correct that mistake pretty fast.

Re: 4K / Ultra HD Blu-ray: Discounts and deals

They took too long, already picked up a couple of titles from Best Buy.

BTW, redeeming 4k UHD codes is damn hard, and not all redeem in UHD. Which they should since they charge so damn much for them on Vudu.

since Amazon is now charging tax, I went the Best Buy route as well (and it's a five minute drive from my house) ... only the Universal titles are the easiest to redeem the digital copies IMO - since I use Vudu.

Warner's does as well, although Superman V Batman only redeems in HDX. But if you redeem it via Flixster, it'll port everywhere in UHD. Too many damn little quirks going on with this stuff.

Really? That's odd since "Man of Steel" "Pacific Rim" and "Watchmen" all downloaded the UHD Dolby Vision via Vudu

Re: 4K / Ultra HD Blu-ray: Discounts and deals

Apparently it's just that Warner's title that has an issue. Still, I'm skiddish about just putting the code in until I've researched it. Hope they all transfer as UHD soon. And dammit, they need to change the UV code sheets, so we'll know what's 4K and what's blu.
