Now at Target, Thor: Love and Thunder is Out of stock but Lightyear 4k is in stock.

Why So Blu?

Bullmoose has Reacher S1 4K disc set for $29.97. Even with the cheapest shipping charge it brings the total to $33 and some change. Amazon's price was $44 and some change shipped.

Yeah, I just skimmed it again, it actually had people talking about picking up the VHS sets to get the original versions of the OT.

That's how unwanted this set was.


Edit: holy cow that's 3 years ago and they're still trying to dump them.

I think I bought mine on sale in 2020. I don't regret it, but the original trilogy doesn't look spectacular, thanks to the older 4K masters, and I probably dislike/am indifferent to more movies than not in the set.

I guess $112.99 was the magic price point for enough people to go "meh, I guess..." There's probably a few that were flush with some Christmas money.
