Had to go back and recheck since the header appears to be a bit misleading.
This set only has the 4K discs so unless there's something wrong with the player or discs -- shouldn't be a problem. If you want the BD disc too (this set doesn't have them) -- they're Warner those appear to be Region Free anyway
Even though 4K discs aren't even supposed to able to locked, there are maybe maybe couple dozen misencoded 4K discs from various countries that are reported accidentally region locked -- all from small distributors and not major studios like Warner

I would be fine not having the Blu set but I’d hate to not have the 4K discs work.

I can't imagine the 4K discs wouldn't work unless they're scratched -- and if for some reason they wouldn't then Amazon's going to refund you even if the Global Store is technically a Marketplace Seller.. I'm not sure if the UK set are being replicated in EU/Poland or they are originating in Mexico like the US sets.
The mexico plant seems to having QC issues over the last year+
